Today is my last day of maternity leave and I feel like my heart is breaking. Although I know she will be perfectly happy with her daddy I can't help but feel a sense of loss for one of the best times of my life. Being able to spend nearly ten months with my daughter has been so wonderful and I don't think I would ever be ready to end it. I am watching her sleep so peacefully and I am wondering what the next few days and weeks will bring. Having such an attached baby has never been much of an issue until this moment and now it brings a level of anxiety you can't imagine. I am so thankful to @andyrus4 for not only supporting us throughout these months but for taking on the mantle of primary care giver so readily and so calmly.
