Do you think I don’t know that? Do you really think I’ve not been beating myself up for the last two years because I couldn’t say anything? I came so close so many times but if I let even just a word slip, Moriarty’s men would have moved in and killed them. Do you understand that? Killed. Them. This wasn’t something that was a first plan. It was a last resort we were forced to use to keep Aaron and John safe. I did it because I care about them, even though I hated what I had to do. I kept my promise to keep it a secret so they would stay safe.

Despite all of our efforts, Aaron still ended up hurt…

For the prev anon: this wasn't Molly's fault. This wasn't Sherlock's fault. This is Moriarty and Mary's fault and their fault only. Molly and Sherlock did their best to keep John and Aaron safe, do you really think that this is something they wanted? Sherlock took down Moriarty's network on his own, both of them had to bear the weight of keeping this secret. If you think this was easy for either of them, shame on you, anon. Sometimes there are no good choices. Don't listen to the anon, Molly.

A quick sketch I did on the few train journeys I’ve been on between yesterday and today. Just trying out a slightly more ‘painterly’ style - with more expressive application of colour. And who better to do that with than the lovely, colourful Molly?
