I need clingy Sans. Genuinely I need Sans who can front as being a chill boyfriend so as to not freak you out but like…he loves being around you so much. It’s a palpable ache in his soul when you’re not around.

He first realizes this when he’s out, getting up to his normal stupidity at Grillby’s on a night you had to work, and it just…wasn’t as fun without you giggling and leaning on his shoulder.

His clinginess doesn’t come off as possessive or controlling, more that he just would rather be around you than not. Going to the grocery store? He’ll tag along. Going on a walk? He needed to stretch his legs anyway. Going clubbing? Not his scene, but hey, he’s always up to try something new (lying).

Of course, if you need space, he’ll gladly give it to you, but say the word and he’s right back by your side with an arm thrown over your shoulder or his head in your lap while you watch TV.

Idk I just think this guy would love to have his S/O within arms reach, even if they’re not even doing anything together.

I know it’s a bit unusual for me to make a post like this, but I thought it’d be good to explain what’s coming next two week /(^.^)//

Someone on YouTube (@e9iii) asked me for the following:

So, based on their idea, there will be a four-part Reapertale mini comic! To make sure this person can read it, I’ll be posting it on Wednesdays and Fridays for the next two weeks (With the exception of this first-week one, which will be posted on the 21st instead of the 22nd, a Tuesday instead of a Wednesday) at the time I usually post, which for me is 1:00 a.m., in Russian (translated with a translator, but hey, it works HAHAHA).

Since I also wanted to write it in my own language, 15 minutes later (1:15) I’ll post it in Spanish, and so everyone can enjoy it, another 15 minutes later (1:30) I’ll post it in English. So if you want to wait before reading or reblogging it, don’t worry, I didn’t forget about the English version HAHAHA (￣▽￣)ノ

Ive said this once and I’ll say it again, while I 100% agree that UT/DR characters are ultimately the same at their core I DO think that ignoring the KEY differences in circumstances, context, and action between UT and DR characters can create just as bad analysis as saying “Undyne would NEVER be a cop”. Like Undyne DR and Undyne UT are NOT 1:1. Saying she was “allways a cop in UT” is not 100% accurate!

UT Undyne is not *just a cop. Yes, she became a guard to beat up bad guys. But she is also a solider in a plot for both freedom for her people and vengeance against those that trapped them with no escape. Undynes actions in UT are thusly both more violent than in DR but also more sympathetic. This is why btw Undyne’s violence against the player is not treated the same as the players violence against Undyne by UTs narrative. Because ultimately, you as the player have all the power as a human in the underground AND as a human in real life up against fictional characters. You have the power to reach out and create a better world by reconciliation of both your kinds as well as the power to destroy any hope of that via sheer determination.

Meanwhile in DR her position as a cop in part comes from the fact that she never has to confront the violence being a cop entails. She is from a small town where nothing happens! She joined wanting to beat up bad guys and now kinda does nothing. She’s both less sympathetic in DR (because she has no genuine grievances here to fight for) and is also conversely less violent.

Similarly UT Asgore is not *JUST a pathetic blonde divorced man who can’t move on from the past (though that IS a key part of his character). He is also a man crushed under the weight of duty whom due to numerous tragedies has given up hope on reconciliation with humanity but whos ALSO to cowardly to actually put his plan into full motion until the last minute. Thus killing 6 children out of cowardice then killing himself once Frisk comes in. He wants to return to the past but also KNOWS Thats impossible.

While DR Asgore is a man stripped of his responsibility to society (not to his family) whos desperately obsessed with returning to the past. Whos goal seems to BE returning to the past. DR Asgore is a cop of a small town who has never had to deal with issues beyond small town ones in his life. There are obvious through lines that carry on between UT and DR here but these stories are not 1:1.

None of this justifies either Undyne or Asgores actions in either game, but it DOES make those actions DIFFERENT both in terms of tone and in terms of like, literal action.

Changing the context changes the character THATS WHAT AN AU IS.

Idk if this rant makes any sense, my main point I guess is that you can acknowledge the differences in UT vs DR and acknowledge the ways in which the characters are different between games and the ways that might make you prefer one over the other WITHOUT being like “Undyne can never be a cop”. Theirs nuance here!
