That wasn't entirely a lie. If the girl was smart she'd listen to Helena and pick up on things like how to avoid being caught. She let herself into the car, clicking her seat belt into place -- safety first. She swung her legs up so that her feet rested on the dashboard, her muddy boots leaving prints all over it.

"You could be brave if you tried, it's not very hard."

There was no way Beth was going to leave Helena unattended in her apartment, least of all in the kitchen. The detective followed her sister, leaning forward over the kitchen island. “If you don’t like me then why are you here?” She barely changed the tone of her voice, knowing that Helena would have to like her to decide to pay her a visit. “The food in my fridge isn’t that great, and you would have known I’d be home alone today. Admit it, you might just enjoy my company, Helena.”

The detective pushed herself up again, a smirk plastered across her face.

Her clone was right, there wasn't a great selection in the fridge -- mainly leftovers from god knows how long. Helena grabbed as much as she could carry and dropped them on the table, grabbing a fork on the way. Her stomach was paining her from not eating in a while so she decided not to bother heating the leftovers up and just began eating them cold as she tried to think of a clever answer.

"I am here because I am not ready to go back and get lecture from Sarah about being irresponsible and immature."

Hoped was the right word and she flinched again when Helena picked up a tube and shook it. "Please.. that can be dangerous.. it is better if you do not do that. There are chemicals and some can hurt you if you were to get it on you." She warned her. A clone from Cosima, yet completely different. It usually fascinated her, but right now she was just worried.

A look of feigned innocent and hurt crossed her face, directed at the other woman. The test tube clinked against it's holder as she dropped it back into it, not worrying about how fragile it probably was. She hadn't come her for anything in particular, the science of her genetic build-up didn't interest Helena as much as it did the other clones. She sat down on one of the hard plastic chairs in front of the computer. The words made no sense to her but she clicked on random things anyway. Her own words came out in a mock of Delphine's accent that sounded more crazy-scientist than French.

"Ah yes Cosima, look at all of the research I have been making on clone cures."
