I remember hearing you was in hospital. You don’t understand how surprised I was.

(Just after your birthday Jan 2023)

I cycled to you with flowers that were in the vase sticking out the top of my bag.

We sat we spoke, I never ever ever did feel like we had the time alone we were supposed to, never enough.

I checked you twice, you were in there for under a week. After that we had a great summer and a pretty chill rest of the year.

I wish I had asked more questions about your health, even when you looked healthy.
