I asked myself if this is how I want to be loved for the rest of my life. If the silence, the minimal effort, and the constant feeling of being unseen were all I would ever get. I realized love shouldn't feel like begging for small pieces of care.
Little by little, something in me became tired. Not angry, not bitter but just tired.
Tired of waiting. Tired of making excuses for things that kept hurting me. That was the moment I slowly started to let go.
I understood that staying where I felt unvalued would only teach my heart to accept less than it deserves.

It feels like the ocean has a hold of me, pulling me under — this weight of heartbreak, is drowning me slowly.
