im gonna be at risd in less than 2 weeks?? uh. also i applied for a student mentorship program and was chosen which is cool but now im getting emails about being one of risd’s student leaders and.how did this.happen. they dont know who i am i should not be leading other students

#my biggest takeaway from the last few months is dont make decisions for other people #like i woulda thot the fact that i barely passes high school and had shit transcripts would have made it so i couldnt go to college much #less get a scholarship for it but here i am #dam #i already miss my bed

got to work and somehow there was a mixup and my boss thot i was late.i was not.i was actually early. and she threw me on bar which is my fav but also the little area of the counter where we put orders..there literally was no room for more orders. like i had 30+ drinks to prepare and a consistent line to the door. my body literally went into fight or flight mode. anyways i did fine and i should have more faith in myself bc im fucking cool and capable.duh how could i forget
