It's curious.

Whenever you see someone talking about their love for the Fifteenth Doctor, it's as if there was a legal mandate to start with “I know RTD--”

Every single time I see a post trying to be positive about Thirteen's era, without fail, it always starts with “I know her era isn't perfect”/“I know she has some bad episodes”/“While it's not without its flaws”.

You know what I've never seen?

A Twelfth Doctor fan saying “I know the way Moffat kills off companions--”, or “I know In the Forest of the Night and Kill the Moon are a thing, but--”

An Eleventh Doctor fan having to specify that they love him “even though the storylines were a mess”.

A Tenth Doctor fan starting with “say what you want about the Skeletor Master or Love & Monsters--”

And like, gee. I wonder why that is. Why, even when talking about the positives, there seems to be almost an obligation to first point out that it's not perfect and you don't think it's perfect and it'll never be perfect. Why that sense of obligation only seems to exist for the Doctors who are a Woman or Black. I sure wonder.

I am a father of two children 👨‍👧‍👦 from Gaza 🇵🇸, currently living through extremely difficult humanitarian conditions after losing my home due to the war 💔, and I am now displaced far from my original place of residence.

Life here is filled with daily challenges 😔, especially when it comes to providing basic needs such as food 🍞, water 💧, and care for my children.

My children are everything I have in this life ❤️, and I am doing my best to provide them with the minimum level of safety and food, but the current situation is very hard, and sometimes I cannot even provide them with a proper meal during the day 🍽️.

I also want to be able to provide my children with their school needs 🎒, such as supplies, stationery ✏️, and basic materials that help them continue their education despite the difficult conditions 📚.

I am only writing this because I have reached a point where I can no longer manage on my own 😞. Therefore, I am asking for help from anyone who is able to support, even with a small amount 💵, as it may help feed my children or ease part of our suffering.

Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a big difference in our lives 🌱. And if you are unable to help financially, sharing this post 📢 could reach someone who can, and that would also be a great support for us.

I think one of my favorite quirks about the Eighth Doctor is his tendency to repeat himself when he gets excited.

And it carries over into the Audios. I don’t know if it is McGann, or something he injected into this character alone, but I like it. I do wish his pick pocketing skills were used more.
