just finished up our usual busy June schedule. thirteen years of married life (lucky13), my fortyeighth birthday (wOoOoOt!), and the Poopie's twelfth birthday! whew! my heart is full.. as with my stomach. havta do a bit more cardio in the coming days.

well, THAT went... er, well. truly thankful to have experienced this marriage retreat / getaway with you and rediscovering why we're here in the first place. thankful that God arranged everything... schedules, sponsors, babysitters. thank you, aly, for being with me in this journey.

No other cookie or treat beats Chocolate Chip Cookies. They're gooey on the inside but crunchy on the outside, pretty irresistible if you ask me!

unsalted butter: 114g white sugar: 100g brown sugar: 110g an egg (50g) 1tsp vanilla 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp baking soda flour: 160g chocolate chips: 175g ++

also for the oven: 12mins at 170-180 degrees Celsius
