it's always good to have friends.

Many (many) moons ago, as i attended my friends'/officemates' children's baptisms, I always ask the same question... "what's it like holding your baby?" or maybe "how does that feel?". They can't quite seem to explain it. And then a decade (and a day) ago, it was my turn. Mikaela Alyssandra Summer Boomboom Poopsmachine Camacho Atienza was born around 6:25am (officially, but i heard the cry around 6:05am). I must say, i still can't explain how it felt but my hair was standing on end as i listened to Summer's cries that June morning. And when i got to see her, she was beautiful... liwat sa daddy! hahahaha. And there began my... er, training of being a father. Sure, i get advice from my dad and my brother and some friends but nothing really prepares you for it. You learn along the way.. like wiping the poops and changing diapers to talking about drawing comics and boys!
