thank you so much for continuing to support this blog! i’ll provide an explanation below as to why i haven’t been posting.

i feel like it should be known that i am not completely gone: in fact, i’m working on a fic right now. the fic is long, has multiple chapters, and is not just a one shot. it’s my first full actual story that i’ve created with help from the lovely @murdongthiccals.

it’s coming along nicely! i wrote a chapter with around 3,500 words the other day, it’s later in the story, but i’ve found that most writers start their stories a bit towards the middle or end because they don’t know how to start it (uhh me lol).

right now i’m on vacation and will be spending time with a friend for a week, but hopefully, one day i will have everything written so i can publish a chapter every week. i’d hate to post a chapter and then have you guys waiting for a month before i finish a new one.

so yes, this will take awhile.

i know i haven’t done requests and honestly the fandom really needs juice from creators to keep it alive. this fic has a solid plot, some smut of course, and lots of angst. something the fandom needs desperately.

again, thank you so much for sticking with me and being supportive. you guys are great and really nice to me when i feel like i don’t deserve it. i promise you you’ll enjoy the story i’m creating 💗.

Stupid Murdoc Headcanons I Have

- He can do an incredible Joe Pesci impression. He does it randomly, and it really makes 2D and Noodle laugh. They end up feeding him lines and he can do the accent flawlessly.

- As part of helping himself get better, he's trying to process his anger properly. But for days it's too much, he pulls out a bunch of old records, plates, and cups, and smashing them against the garden wall. There's no warning but Noodle is delighted when she hears the smashes and she races to join him. This helps because her joy is catching.

- He watches Only Fools and Horses religiously because he's old. He's seen every episode several times over. The good thing is that Russel enjoys it too, so they usually sit and watch it together.

- He steals shoe laces. Mostly 2D's, although the singer seems to be glad to see them gone. He loves doing it to Noodle though, especially on all her big, lace-up boots. She ends up chasing him around the house and he legs it, waving the laces in the air. It's a mostly harmless prank.

- He fucking loves cacti. But he calls them "little pricks" because of all the spikes, and he makes himself laugh. No one else find it funny after the 10th time. He has about 12 cacti now, but next week it'll be a different 12. He isn't very good at keeping them alive...

("I need to water my little pricks!" *heinous laughter* *murdoc noises*)

- He can cook. Like really well. This is actually canon, considering his B-Tec Catering qualification. But he never cooks. Because he's lazy. That's literally it. He'd rather Russ or even 2D cook, just so he doesn't have to lift a finger.
