Salthouse on the North Norfolk Coast has a shingle beach that extends back from the sea maybe two or three hundred metres. The man in the photo is on the top edge, from where I was standing he is probably about four metres higher than me. On the other side of him the shingle falls away sharply down to the water’s edge. The Alliums have gone but have been replaced by the beautiful deep blues of the Eryngium, also know as Sea Holly. I under exposed this by 0.7 stop to retain the deep colours.
