Holaa, estoy aprendiendo português de 🇧🇷 y quería saber si me podrías responder una pregunta o algune de tus seguidores! Cuál es la vocal que se usa para expresar neutralidad? Había visto que usaban la "x", pero tengo la duda sobre qué vocales emplean!

creo que en portugués también emplean la “e” para expresar neutralidad, pero a ver si pueda confirmar une brasileñe :)

soy brasileñe y sí, se emplea la "e" igual que español. actualmente no se emplea más la "x", ella fue empleada por algunos años en la internet pero así como en español la pronunciación suena rara, y además no es accesible para aquelles que utilizan lectores de pantalla (?), así que los activistas por el lenguaje inclusivo cambiaronla. ahora empleamos la "e" y así es ya hace unos cuantos años

(perdóname si mi español suena raro, aún estoy aprendiendo a hablarlo :~( )

EDIT: casi me olvidé. en portugués "él" se dice "ele", así que la forma neutra de decir ele/ela es "elu"

All I can think abt is that one quote that basically just describes that you can’t be your true self in your native language bc there’s too much emotional attachment, but that second languages allow speakers to be truly free with their words
