Almost 24
23 with a purpose but no direction. Sitting at home wondering what’s the next step. If I should move out? can I even afford it? where should I go? growing up middle class and being left on the curb at a young age is so hard to come back from. “you have all the time in the world” but Im almost 24. “you need to focus on you’re future” But im only almost 24. I cant stand the idea that im practically an adult. I can’t stand the idea that I haven’t found a job I truly enjoy. Im so stuck being an mature adult that i forget im almost 24. I’ll be too old to feel like going to a club or getting drunk with little to no responsibilities. I’d appreciate if 20′s came with a mentor. help me manage my finances, help me move out, show me the real ropes to adulting.
You’re 20’s and how to make the most of them
Being in your 20’s is such a weird transitional age. I definitely felt 18-19-20 were bad, but once you hit 21 you feel even more confused about who you are as a person and where you should be. There’s a couple things you should realize before you start freaking out about your placement in life;
Everyone learns to go about life at a different pace
To avoid a constant grief of identity crisis, don’t be afraid to commit (to a job, internship, and any opportunity that brings you a sense of security) and explore who you are(hobbies, things you enjoy, and simple pass times.). Learn to balance capital and exploration to gain a sense clearer self, better stress management, and stronger reasoning.
DONT let fomo make you’re choices, by doing this you create a life of less intentional choices which leave you wondering where the time went and regret of not taking advantage sooner.
when dealing with choices, it’s better to choose than have not chosen at all. A small choice can change your life for the better, act on a more advancing choice than a comfortable one.
Your 20’s seem like it should be fun, however thinking about everyone partying the night away is just an excuse to not deal with the things in front of us. definitely, 20’s seem extremely daunting and a little too grown up when you feel like you were just in high school yesterday. It’s a chance. A chance to make your life easier and make simple mistakes. 20’s are a chance to explore jobs and see how much progress you can make in a career. Being twenty something’s in this day an age in such a prosperous era, they’re practically begging for 20somethings to be the new face of the era. We essentially hold the power of knowing/ growing up with advancing technology, social media, and all things 21st century advancement. Being in your 20’a right now can help you advance. So utilize what you know and go about trial and error. Make commitments and explore your self. Your exactly where you need to be :).

This color has been a trivial color in fashion the past year and here’s why.
Green stands for balance, nature, growth and renewal. All things this society is currently striving for. This color is the matriarch of the society transfer from a 9-5 life style to a work from home; live, laugh, love attitude. This color is shown to be very elegant and desirable in different ways.

Vivienne Westwood: the futuristic royalties of change and protest
Vivienne Westwood has recently gained notoriety for her staple piece pearl necklace with the logo named “the orb” curated in 1986. The meaning behind the symbol was royalty with a bit of futuristic flare. With Saturn as a primary symbol, meaning power, change and organization its no surprise gen z practically adopted this accessory. In the new age of change Vivienne Westwood accessories and dupes have been plastered all over social media, as well as in the hands of some influential socialites. However, with this era of change I don’t believe many influencers know the backstory or the meaning of the iconic Vivienne Westwood ionic trademark. She was a woman of punk rock, protest, and angst and easily became the trending topic in 1970’s fashion.
Since the 1970’s punk era in England, Vivienne Westwood has embodied the title as punk rock queen. In some of the most crucial moments of her career she came to have met Malcom mclaren, an art student and future sex pistols manager, someone who soon would help lay the foundation of her career. On the road to making a name for herself she helped curate “the Sex Pistols” style, of provocative t-shirt graphics, unconventional rips/tears, straps, and chains. Her fashion sense was merely a protest against anti-establishment. As a mark of her protest Vivienne Westwood turned heads in ‘89 as her impersonation of the prime minister on the cover of tattler, a magazine focusing on fashion and lifestyle. Westwood’s act was on full display during London fashion week, taking up billboards and applaud to her passion. Westwood was always shown to be rebellious and passionate about her views. She incorporates a lot of her standing into fashion by curating “Save the Artic” and “Climate Revolution” slogans onto her t-shirts to address her work against climate change. In more recent years, Westwood has devoted her time into modernizing her craft. When being asked if she felt guilty about consumption the fashion world promotes in 2014 Observin, Vivienne Westwood goes on saying “I’m now trying to make my own business more efficient and self-sustaining”.

Fast fashion is inevitable
The idea that fast fashion will fade is almost an dream. Unfortunately, similar to world peace we can only dream of in a perfect world. My perfect world is the end of fast fashion waste and world peace coincide hand and hand. Fast fashion is a representation of our social hierarchy. Now your probably asking, well how does that match up?
Fast fashion is a product built for the people but against the world. It’s built for people to stay on trend and be fashionable at affordable prices. Key word affordable. A lot of ethical and sustainable-slow fashion brands have great quality and good print, unfortunately at not so affordable prices. This is where the term “you get what you pay for”, comes into play. Paying two dollars for a shirt and 1.99 for shipping on shein will only get you as far as cheap. You get what you pay for. People would rather spend tons of money to stay on trend than save money for they’re own personal style.
