We really wanted to show something soft, sweet, and intimate for this day. Since Elain and Lucien both love the outdoors, we thought Elucien gardening together and spending the day out in the sun would be perfect!

Lucien declaring himself a mated male and refusing any females, despite not even knowing his mate beyond the surface. Lucien maintaining that loyalty, even going so far as to feel guilt for his own assault at the hands of another female.

Lucien on the run, abandoning his home, and asking Feyre to tell him about Elain. Lucien willing to accept that Elain has a lover, despite the agony that it would bring him. Lucien finding Elain to be the most beautiful female he has ever seen in her current state, while others describe her to be sickly. Lucien gripping his teacup to keep from shuddering from Elain saying his name for the first time. Lucien being the one to tell everyone to take Elain outside, to take her to the sea.

Lucien traveling across the world on a whim from Elain’s visions, trusting her solely. Lucien fighting in a war and, upon completion, took off running across the shore to make certain that Elain was alright. Lucien being the only character to credit Elain personally for her assist with the King of Hybern. Lucien keeping his distance, despite how much it pains him to do so, in order to allow Elain that comfort. Lucien longing for Elain, for the bond to be accepted. Lucien offering Elain two perfect Solstice gifts, one that he learned of as a side thought and remembered months later.

Lucien Vanserra is at the mercy of Elain Archeron.

The scars of the past pave the way for the future; the deeper they are, the farther the impact. Lucien’s scars are carved deeply, both over his skin and around his heart. I see him as a character that embraces his scars for the messages and stories they give him, despite the pain and anguish that was bestowed upon him. I see him becoming great, despite it all.

Okay, so y’all know how in the first episode of each season of Bridgerton it is shown how much the male lead is seen as a catch and sought out by many debutantes? Well, I was thinking, how are they planning to do that for Colin? In the books, the ton all saw him as a charmer. So, I think that they will have to make him seem wanted by many women of the ton in the first place. But they obviously can’t do it the way they did for Simon because Colin doesn’t have a title, and cannot do it the way Anthony did cause Colin has still forsworn women (as far as we know). So how will the show do it? I think that one way that could be fun (especially for the first ep) is Penelope writes in LW what Colin has said about Penelope at the Featherington ball and the fact that he has forsworn women and challenges the debutantes of the ton to ROMANCE MISTER BRIDGERTON. This will also occupy Colin at every ball he goes to when he tries to talk to Penelope. This way, Penelope isn’t forced to avoid him because he'll be too busy. It’s just a clever idea and a cheeky way to throw the book title in there, but lmk what y’all think the show will do to make Colin seem like a catch😏(I honestly think that they could just let the debutantes see how good he looks as pirate Colin and they’d all be falling cause I was🥵)
