Sylvia was three when the eldritch entity her parents had aligned with 'repaired' her pull-along toy (a telephone, in modern verses) and brought it to life. The thing's a nuisance sometimes, but she treats it like a beloved, if often troublesome, pet. It does not eat. It does not sleep. It is a surprisingly effective guard that she brings with her into every possible encounter with what the rest of the world might term the paranormal.

I have a bad headache so much actual writing is difficult, but I've been thinking a lot today about Beth's daughter Amelia as a (ghost) kid, how she's kind and brave and manipulative and came up with the risky plan that caused her best friend to accidentally ride his bike into the quarry and break his wrist, how she taught him and her sister Lucy how to be better liars, and how she tried, always, to protect her family and help them through their grief.
Okay, working on getting my notes on the drunken philosopher's culture all nicely put together. Will do starters after I sleep, too.

All currently planned muses are now on the carrd, except for the gods & aliens section. But most of those will likely be request only anyway, or at least Dreams, Mischief, and the Drunken Philosopher will.
Thematically, lot of my muses have a very odd or unusual relationship with grief and death.
Tanya, mourning what she can't quite see as her own death, and her inability to ever see her? family again.
Beth Reid, who went through a devastating loss, and is still defined by that loss in many ways... but knowing the answer to "then what?" after death makes all the difference in the world. Ami may be far away, but her parents know she's thriving and loves her new career.
Nate Anderson, resurrected thirty years later into a world he's all but forgotten, with a family who doesn't even know he was gone, faced with the son he and the woman he loved never got to have.
Patrick over on @brighteyedkeeper, potentially facing the unraveling of his father and trying to build a rapport with the man William-"Nate" spent Patrick's entire life pretending to be.
And of course Lionel-Adam ( @fromgallowsandgraves ) is a whole other mess.

If Nate (the human whose corpse Patrick's father William has been possessing) ends up with option 2, that's... 30 years of memories he doesn't have, along with going from being 23 to being physically very much a 50-year-old man with nothing in between except whatever memories he keeps from the afterlife. He'll look like the imposter, much to his chagrin.

Tell me what your muse is like, and learn which member of the 'forbidden knowledge' trio would be most likely to approach them.
I revamped this to give it multiple questions and a few more options - now includes "Rose" and "William" as well!
