ANYWAYS i skimmed through all the posts on your page and nearly combusted with all the new delicious content. but doing that had me curious and putting my tinfoil hat back on, and since i'd say you're quite approachable, who best than the creator to ask these questions? :D
below are the aforementioned questions!! but now that i look back at this, like 90% of this ask is just me yapping😭 so i've bolded the actual question part so you can skip everything else and get to answering if you'd like!
i know the story isnt really an *x reader* or the 'x'/romance of the story isnt the main focus, and super sorry if you already clarified this somewhere on your blog (again, i only skimmed, i can only obsessively analyze every post later in the week but i was curious if there were actual love interests in the story, or something that fits the standard mold of 'romantic love'. i do know you said different dynamics between mc and the shades/proxies would be explored, and i was wondering if something similar to that would be one of 'em, and with who ! not to say that i'd be disappointed if there turns out to be no romance at all, the story is good enough without it, but i was just curious!
BONDS!!! DOES MC GROW A BOND WITH SOMEONE??! oughh this was something i was superrrr curious and interested to hear about since it was first introduced, and i was so sad to realize that there were barely, if any, fics that had that similar part to them. it just makes so much sense!! like, the leader can communicate with its mind, so why not its lackeys??! and for me, it really hammers in the fact that these silly guys — monsters and abominations they may be —are still monsters and abominations who want and seek connection, even if not actively!! if my theory is correct, to form a bond/connection you have to ask the one you want to form a bond with (courtesy of jeff and smile) and that's so beatiful cause look at these creatures, despite everything, extending an olive branch, a sign of trust and love for that one special someone!! the one they'd risk their life for!!! the one they'd take the hit for!!!! (to this day that one chapter with the proxy trio has me in ruins) and ajsjoajaoshsh. anyways, i digress. i personally dont think mc gets a bond, but its worth a shot!! what do ya know, i might be wrong!
Will other popular characters like Eyeless Jack make an appearance? ignore the possibility that im asking this to see if i can see my favs and not for the plot.... im super glad to see Jason made the cut!! my annoying sassy blorbo graghhh... oh AND will characters from other slenderverses make an appearance? (HABIT, Skully etc.) or is it strictly 'creepypasta/slendermansion' characters, with the exception of tim and brian ofc LOL
Will the other characters from the past make an appearance, such as Charlie, Jenny etc. I dont think slenderdaddy and all his possesiveness would allow mc, or any other member of the Family really, to go to populated areas like neighbourhoods and such, so the chance of them meeting at all would be very low, but Jenny mentioned she like photography, so there may be a veryyy slim chance we might get to meet her in the woods? maybe im reaching for the stars here but that would be very good angst material so i asked anyway!! can you tell i miss charlie💔

There's a post floating around somewhere on this blog that says it, but yes there will be no strict "romance"; if anything, the relationships with MC/Crow will fall more in line with queerplatonia. What I can say is that the major relationships that Crow will build will be with Masky, Hoody, and Toby.
2. Bonds are certainly not my original idea; I remember being inspired by a similar concept in a Creepypasta fic, though I really don't remember which one. This version, however, is definitely my own. Bonds are supposed to be a sort of metaphor for literally "bonding over trauma"-- influenced by the types of creatures they've become, the humans they once were, and the effects of the Gloom.
Your theory is close, but it isn't necessarily something one asks for. If a pair of Shades/Proxies spend a lot of time together, support each other, or seek each other out, a Bond begins to naturally form. They begin to be able to instinctively sense each others emotional states and actions. Eventually, if they continue to keep in close contact and no major upsets happen, they will begin to be able to send messages back and forth. Mainly pictures and short sentences.
Bonds can form between more than two people, and can overlap with older Bonds, but it is not an exact science and there's not enough "data" for any true understanding to be gleaned. All that is known is that it is rare between pairs, and rarer still to occur twice in one person.....
3. Currently, there are plans for many of the more popular characters (and a few more obscure ones) to make an appearance. Less so "slenderverse" in general, as I have really only dipped my toes into Marble Hornets (and Skully I find to be a little too complicated to find a way to fit them into my world neatly). If I do end up checking out HABIT's source material, or other slenderverse projects, then they may show up! But at this time it's really just "creepypasta" guys.
4. The past is a hard thing to shake, isn't it? It has this way of sinking its claws into you; and no matter how hard you try to leave it behind, the past has a funny way of suddenly reminding you of what you left behind. What you lost. What you regret.
