The kind of love;

i deserve a love that doesn’t need to be chased. a love that shows up, not just when it’s convenient, but especially when it matters. a love that doesn’t make me question if i’m asking for too much just by needing the bare minimum.

i deserve softness without begging, effort without reminders, presence without pleading. i deserve someone who notices the small things, who pays attention to what i don’t say out loud. someone who makes me feel chosen even on ordinary days.

the kind of love i deserve doesn’t make me shrink. it allows me to rest, to be real, to be held emotionally, spiritually, and honestly.

and maybe the love i’ve given so freely to others is the same love that will eventually find its way back to me.. only this time, it’ll stay. not because i asked… but because it sees my worth and knows.

I hope this kind of love finds me.

For every Filipino, freedom is life. Let's celebrate our independence! Happy 126th Philippine Independence Day! As we celebrate our nation's 126th Independence Day, I just want to share one of my favorite movie line from Heneral Luna..(it's a film that tells the story of General Luna, one of the fiercest and most brilliant military leaders in Philippine history) "Mga kapatid, tayo'y magkaisa. Wala nang ibang mgtatanggol sa ating bansa kundi tayo ring mga Pilipino.." (English translation: Brothers and sisters, let us unite. No one else will defend our country but we Filipinos ourselves..) Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!
