She was really excited to be going on a date, she hardly ever goes on dates. Sure, boys found her attractive but most of them never asked her out.

She had spent most of the afternoon trying to find an outfit, most of her closet now littered her bedroom floor. She was just finished getting ready when she heard the doorbell and her heart starting racing. She quickly grabbed her purse and rushed to open the door.

"Leon~"

Cold feet wasn't exactly something Leon got often, if ever. But here he was, his will inches from breaking, almost about to turn away. Then he heard footsteps. Well, at first, he thought they were footsteps. But, after a moment of listening, it was most definitely more like excited sprinting down a flight of stairs. Just the thought of Sayaka Maizono, of all people, being excited to see him was enough to keep him from running away and hiding his shame in a box of ice cream.

Even still, he jumped a bit when the door flew open, and stood dumbfounded when he finally saw her. To him, she was beautiful no matter what, be it in anything from her idol attire to sweatpants and a t-shirt. But now, seeing her dolled up specifically for him? He felt more than a bit lightheaded, reaching out to brace himself, playing it off as acting 'cool'.

"Holy shit...you look beautiful."

Leon Kuwata, baseball star turned rocker, was always the confident one. However, now here he stood, practically quaking in his shoes outside of Sayaka's house, which was practically a mansion, given its rather large size. He'd been standing in front of her door for at least ten minutes now, frozen in place and unable to simply bring himself to ring the damned doorbell.

"Okay, come on, Kuwata. You can do this. You've taken girls on dates before. Sure, they weren't Sayaka Maizono, but...still. She's a girl. You can do this."

Shakily, he rose a hand before quickly jabbing at the doorbell, almost immediately slamming his hand back down to his side.
