This is currently my new favorite band. Their name is California Wives and their from Chicago. The band formed in 2009 and they just recently released their first album Art History . Honestly I can't stop listening to this album, it's amazing. They remind me of a softer version of Foster The People and Jamison Parker. Their definitely worth checking out! Friendly Fires- Pala
I know Pala by Friendly Fires came out a little over three weeks ago, but I actually got to listen to it in depth, and I honestly think that this is one of the best albums of the year. I am completely obsessed with this album. You can really tell the band but their hearts and souls into it. Usually when I write a review about an album, I'll list my overall favorite songs off the album, but honestly I can't choose one! All of the songs are amazing. If you haven't heard of Friendly Fires, you need to check them out right this second, you will be happy you did.

"Half Mast" by Empire of The Sun is currently my new favorite song. I've listened to their album a lot, but today I happened to really listen to the lyrics of this song, and I absolutely love it. If you've never heard it, listen above!

I'm loving "We Do It" (Primo) by Colette Carr, it has such a refreshing new sound to it. She reminds me of slight mix of Avril Lavigne and Passion Pit's "Sleepyhead". Colette Carr is a twenty year old rapper/singer from Los Angeles, California. She is currently working on her first debut album titled " Skitszo which is due out later this year.

Friendly Fires New Album out May 16th!
I just wanted to express how excited I am for Friendly Fires new album which is due out May 16th. I have been a fan of Friendly Fires for a while now, and I can already guarantee that I'm going to love this album. I sampled all the songs on Itunes, but after every 1:30 were over, I found myself wanting to hear more. I have a very strong feeling that once this album is out, I'll be overplaying it until the end of summer.

Panic! At The Disco just released the official video for my favorite song "Ready To Go(Get Me Out of My Mind)" and I am very impressed! I think this might be one of their coolest videos yet! I love how they incorporated the movies Grease and Mary Poppins into it! C-C-Check it out above!
"Friday Night" by Billy Kennedy (Featuring. Maine Damage & T.E.V.I.N) is a brand new song that is now blaring from all speakers I come in contact with. Seriously,"Friday Night" is the perfect summer song. Billy Kennedy is a 19 year old singer/songwriter/producer from Queens, New York and Maine Damage who is featured in the song is a rapper also from Queens. These two artists are pretty rare because not only are they extremely talented, but their good friends as well. They both just released EP's in early April and seriously, they are two of the best EP's I've heard in a long time.

I actually just found "Phoenix Wind" by Yeasayerlast night on YouTube and I've listened to it at least fifty times since then. It's such a chill, good song. Yesayer is a band that comes out of Brooklyn,New York and they currently have two albums out titled All Hour Cymbals and Odd Blood. When I first saw the video for "The Way My Heart Beats" by Good Shoes, all I could think about is Two Door Cinema Clubs video for "Undercover Martyn" their very similar, amirite Two Door Fans?(btw, the "Undercover Martyn video came out a year after the good shoes video did, maybe this is where Two Door got their inspiration from?) But anyways, I just heard this song for the first time today in a surf shop. I instantly liked it because it's just a fun sounding summer song. Check it out above!

Empire of The Sun
About a week ago, I walked into a store and I overheard "Walking On A Dream" by Empire of The Sun. I had no idea who this band was then, so I used the Shazam application on my phone and when I get home I sampled all their music off their album Walking On A Dream on Itunes and I immediately hit buy. Ever since then, I've been listening to their album non-stop. This band is amazing. Empire of The Sun is a two man band from Australia. They joined forces back in 2006 but since then, the band has only released one album. I could see why it took them so long to come out with it, amazing music like this doesn't happen overnight. You readers might have heard their very popular song "We Are The people" which has been featured in a Vizio T.V. commercial. This is one of the best instrumentals I've heard in a while. (Meanwhile there are lyrics in it, but it's only four words, which is why I consider it to be instrumental lol) It's called "Take Me Home" by Germany Germany. It's really relaxing and it just has a great start and end. Check it out above!
I know this song from Adele's album 19, but this is still one of my favorite songs by her. She is currently one of my favorite artists because not only is her voice beautiful and amazing, but she is beautiful and she embraces the fact that she isn't a size 0. If anyone should be considered a good role model in the music industry, it should be her. I recently read in an interview that she said "I don't make music for the eyes, I make music for ears." I think that is such a great saying because honestly, music should never be about what you look like or how "fat" or "skinny" you are. But in the end, people will always have negative things to say whether a performer is overweight or too skinny, I'm just happy Adele is the change we've needed in the music scene for a long time.

Breathe Electric, there are so many good things to say, I don't even know where to begin. Breathe Electric's real name is Grant Harris, and he's been around the music scene since 2007! When I first came across his album Love Struck over the past summer, I was instantly hooked. Over the next few months, I couldn't stop blasting "Bad Girl" and "Stop Actin". But it wasn't until recently, I became an even bigger fan, with the release of his new songs "Dreamin" and "Last One You Love".
