The summer is nearly upon as, and the highly anticipated new single from Newcastle born Cheryl Cole is sure to be a summer smash, featuring none other than Tinie Tempah its a great up beat track and with the great use of saxophones in their really breaks the track down.

Bailey McConnell
Bailey McConnell impressed the judges on last nights Britans Got Talent by signing his own song. Bailey explained that he had the inspiration for the song after his best friend betrayed him.
I believe Bailey is going to be a star, whether he goes far in this program or not I believe he will be around for a while.

Today's new music alert comes from Scottish indie band , Twin Atlantic. The name of the song is 'Heart and Soul' and is released on 25/05/14.
The video is a bit corny but its definitely worth a listen.

T.I -Dead & Gone ft. Justin Timberlake
This weeks throwback thursday comes from US rapper T.I , playing my cards close to my heart with this one, this song reminds me of a close friend passing away just as it was released and I always relate to them when I hear this song. Having Justin on the track was genuis and the beat is insane.
R.I.P Paul Walker
Thought it was only right that today I post a Fast and Furious track.
Unfortunately one of the cast members Paul Walker passed away Saturday afternoon in a car crash. It has been widely reported that he was the passenger in the car whilst his friend was driving.
I think its most important to remember that yes Paul was famous and known worldwide, his friend also had a loving family as well and it is important to have their families and friends in our thoughts and prayers.

Black Eyed Peas - Where is the love ?
This week's throwback thursday comes from none other than the Black Eyed Peas , the US group who hit the mainstream back in 2003 ( ten years ago eeek) with this banger. It was only recently I realised that Justin Timberlake sings on the chorus as well. The Black Eyed peas where huge then and Fergie and Will.I.am are in their own way still relatively known now.
I would still love to see them get back together for a new album in the near future, however would like to see them get this sound back rather than the latest album The Beginning which had a totally different tone to the group altogether.

Album of the week
This weeks album of the week goes to .... Eminem with MMLP 2.
The follow up to the original Marshall Mathers album released back in 2000 is definelty another one under the belt for Eminem, and definetly has number 1 potential this coming week. Feat collabs with Rihanna, Nate Ruess , Kendrick Lamar and Skyler Grey, this album whos Eminem back at his best.
My favourite song has got to be between Monster and Stronger than I was. Let me know what you guys think of it below ?
New Music Monday's
Naughty Boy - Think About it ft Wiz Khalifa & Ella Eyre
Another Monday comes around again, Why does Monday have to be so far away from Friday and Friday's so close to Monday how is that fair ? Anyway another Monday means another new music Monday and today it comes from Shahid Khan aka Naughty Boy. The song is called 'Think About it' and features 2 of the hottest artists out there at the moment Wiz and Ella, I think Wiz part is great but its Ella's that really settles this one for me. I can see big things coming for Ella in 2014 so watch this space.
Pixie Lott - Wake Me Up ( Live at the pool)
So Pixie Lott has been quiet on the scene lately, but she recently released this video of her covering Avicii Wake Me Up' I got to say, out of all the covers out there this is definitely my favourite. Its so stripped back and perfect.
Tine Tempah - Discovering Destiny
Tinie published this documentary to his youtube channel yesterday. It marks the journey of his 2011 tour ' discovery' where tinie toured the UK's city and venues before finally achieving his dream of playing at the SOLD OUT 02 in London.
One thing I got from watching this is how humble and respectful Tinie is, he personally takes time out to make a hello to all his crew on his tour and thanks them all for their presence.
The team he has around him is phenomenal as well, and it definitely helped him become the established artist that he is today. With such a tight team & crew the sky's the limit for Tinie and I really hope his new album which is out on Monday does well for him.

Basshunter - Now You're Gone
This was my jam back in 08, everyone had it on there phones playing it as you walked the streets with your mates and playing it up the back of the bus. After this is turned into a mini movie with the same girl featuring in a lot of the videos there after such as all I ever wanted and Angel in the night.
Basshunter went on to release another 2 albums, but unfortunately they wernt as big as his number 1 album 'now youre gone' and has been relatively quite on the scene.
I would love to see a collab between Basshunter and Avici that would be insane for sure?

Eminem has dropped another new single from new album, this time a collab featuring none other than previous collab pal Rihanna. I got to say I don't think anything will ever top ' Love The Way You Lie' but this certainly comes close.

Feature Friday - Hot manchester trio 'Platnum'
Back in the start of 2008 the smash hit ‘Whats it gonna be’ hit our music channels and boy did it hit it hard.The song was a collab between manchester based trio Platnum Aaron Evers, Mina Poli, and Michelle McKenna and H Two O. It peaked at #2 in the UK charts and from that came other notable hits from the group such as Loveshy , Emotionally Tired and Signals.
Here in our first feature we tracked down Aaron Evers the male lead of Platnum , to see what he’s been up to and what the future holds for Platnum.
Music E : Hi Aaron thanks for taking part and being our first ever feature friday! What are you working on at the moment ?
Aaron : We are working on a few projects, we are working on our new single and also a new collaboration with H Two O.
Music E : Any plans for a tour in the near future ?
Aaron : Yes we will be touring next year definitely.

Music E : Who would be your dream collaboration ?
Aaron : For the band as a whole it would need to be Timbaland , we all respect him majorly
