of course!! when i made that tumblr, there was a lack of eva music around and a lot of it is really nice. i kinda dropped uploading the rebuild soundtracks, but the tv series + end of eva will always be here!

A somewhat more subdued (or perhaps more produced) mix of this track.
I'll Go On Lovin' Someone Else
This piece begins with an elaborate piano cadenza, falling into a classically oriented solo. It tapers off into sparse chords, riddled with tensions, before establishing a melody. It falls into a more typical progression as the melody continues. Strings join half way through the piece, giving it a melancholy body.

I've exhausted the soundtracks from the main TV series. I'm slowing down the queue to once a week, with some Fly Me To The Moon to keep it active. After, I will hunt for the Rebuild soundtracks and post tracks that don't duplicate what is already on here (I know some of the music is reused).
In the meantime, thank you all for following and enjoying the music!
Gap of Dream
A gentle piano piece. The melody lingers in the high register of the piano, with fairly open voicings in the lower register. This becomes more apparent when tension builds.
Expansion of Blockade
A mild orchestral piece. It opens with solo violin and piano, soaring with virtuosic lines. A chorus of strings comes in later to back it up, as well as moderate percussion. The mood of this piece is calming, reminiscent of coming peace. Even as the orchestra fully expands the sound with brassy crescendos, it holds a triumphant mood. Near the end, it calls on a previous theme in various instrumental colors, darkening the sound.
