I have lived through things I wish I never had experienced and I am sure there will be things in the future I would rather do without. The future, the past, it is all forgotten when I focus on the present. I wish to feel the air in my lungs and be thankfully that I can breathe, to feel the sun on my face and feel peace, I wish to enjoy my movements, enjoy food and enjoy being alive. To take weightless steps I must let go of what has happened and what is yet to happen, I must breathe and acknowledge I am alive, I am present, I am free.
