I don't think we as a fandom talk enough about the fact if there's one Megatron that even if by some miracle redeemed has every right to still see absolutely no value in human life is TFA Megatron

Besides the fact his body was dissected and reverse-engineered by Prof. Sumdac to build his technological empire upon and was stuck as nothing but a head in his lab for months. The fact he could easily connect to damm near every bit of technology in Detroit means he probably had access to the internet, which means he had easy access to basically the largest archive of human history. He had access to archives of all of humanity's worst deeds, past and present. I honestly wouldn't blame him for thinking there's no worth in a species so short lived yet seemingly so eager to cause eachother harm directly or indirectly.

I remember reading a fanfic where there was a scene with TFA Megs talking about humanity with despise and deep personal hatred, and then a second person calls him out on the hypocrisy, like; "Are Cybertronians not just as bad as humans, for both still continue to hurt and loathe each other after literal thousands years of existence?" To which Megatron didn't really had anything of substance to say, but it did leave him pondering. Even so, his trauma and personal feelings toward humanity didn't suddenly change over a single dialogue.

I wish I could name you this work if I didn't forget it. Alas, I'll just agree that I love seeing TFA Megatron talking about his experience on Earth specifically and how it was completely different for him than for the Autobots.
