Graffiti on the CNN HQ in Atlanta during a George Floyd protest on May 29, 2020
i know thereās a lot going on but ICE are now one step closer to literally creating gas chambers. they are spraying a chemical called HDQ neutral roughly 100 times a day, every 15 minutes at the adelanto detention center (one of the biggest in the country). people are getting rashes, headaches, their insides are bleeding, etc. the guards are wearing gloves and masks but the detainees have NOTHING. and hereās a quick reminder - america inspired the nazis to create gas chambers when they gassed latino people during the 1917 bath riots.Ā
hereās a petition to sign.Ā itās close to itās goal. if thereās anything else we can do to help iāll update this post.
Say her name: Destiny Harrison (Rest In Peace)
I recall your soul and it tastes like Gardens, flowers, warm winds...
To all my black followers and friends, stay safe.
Also, I would like to add that black lives have always mattered, will always matter.
Itās awful that we even have to say that because it should be a given. However, we need to say it loud and clear for the racists.
We cannot be silent.Ā
Potent minimalist art sends a strong message about police and vigilante brutality in America
Journalist and artistĀ Shirin BarghiĀ has created a gripping, thought-provoking series of graphics that not only examines racial prejudice in todayās America, but also captures the sense of humanity that often gets lost in news coverage. Titled āLast Words,ā the graphics illustrate the last recorded words by Brown and other young black people ā Trayvon Martin, Oscar Grant and others ā who have been killed by police in recent years.
Let us not forget their voices
