Fanworks Auction - FTH 2022

It’s happening! Hello, I’m Nonymos and I’m taking part in Fandom Trumps Hate 2022, where you donate to charities and I write a story following your prompt(s)! If you’ve been looking to get fic from me, now’s your chance. :3

This year I am auctioning not one, not two, but three fics for charity, between 5k and 10k each! (Also I’ve been known to go crazy and write extra fics for my second-highest bidders in past years, just so you know.)

I’ll be writing for Fullmetal Alchemist (Brotherhood/Manga), Boku no Hero Academia, and the MCU. If you win a bid and you want me to write for another fandom of your choosing, I may well be game as long as I’m familiar with it.

If you’ve been reading me for a while you probably have a fairly good idea of what I won’t write (answer: not much) but if you’ve got any questions re: your prompt and whether it would inspire me, don’t hesitate to send me a message here or @parkersgeorg​. I’ll answer in private if you ask me to.

Prologue

Mustang stared down at the unassuming envelop in his hands, standing just inside the shelter the front of Central Command provided from the driving rain. The envelop felt heavy to him, even if all it contained was a set of orders for him and his team, as well as a few sets for varying departments they’d need to consult. Just a few pieces of paper, but they felt like they weighed much more to him as he held them with his aching hands. Was it the endless rain causing his hands to ache, or what these orders entailed?

Ever since the Promised Day, trouble had been popping up in small pockets. An anti-government group here. Rogue alchemists there. Societies determined to get to the truth of what happened within their government. It had been a mess, and Grumman had been keeping Mustang and his team busy with it—especially when it came to dealing with anything to do with alchemy. While Mustang understood the reasoning behind it, it still felt like he was being slowed down.

  Bed/Snowed In

Breda laid in the bed, half dozing. He was warm, sleep still clinging to him as he laid there under the blankets in the room of the small house. In the other rooms, the sounds of Olivier moving about could be heard. Her feet padding around, her voice as she talked on the phone, the sounds of her morning beginning. Soon enough, Breda knew, she would come in here and rouse him from the bed. It was the end of their small vacation, and she had a fort to get back to running, while he had security at the Drachman embassy to Amestris to go back to.

It was hard, having separate postings like this while being married. He looked forward to the day they were both at Northern Command, preferably with her in command.

FIREFOX ADD-ONS ARE THE MOST UNDERRATED THING ON THE INTERNET I just hacked together a script that will let you remove AO3 stories from search results - and keep them removed any future searches. Took me... a couple hours? And that’s just because I haven’t written an add-on in a few months and I didn’t remember the file structure.

Granted, it’s not very user-friendly right now. Needs some polish before I post it for public consumption. But like. IT WORKS ??? I CAN BANISH STORIES FOREVER ????
