originally i planned a bigger piece but i was too worried of how the other kaitos turned out, so i made it smaller 💦 i did ended up finishing them, but removing one kaito means the composition changed so i had to rearrange it and remove both

i posted a bit about this doodle a week before creating it, i think its interesting to see how something is born from planning art! these were the original sketches (they're very small, i made them during class)

i really wanted originally to draw them with big butterfly wings because its cool, but i was wondering if its an overkill www

i looked at the song preview again and decided to have a more timid theme like they're in butterfly museum! the big butterfly wings turned into long veils (a bit butterfly shaped but it's hard to see), i wanted to make them more elegant like it's a wedding

i changed a bit of the composition and crop since i'm not that good with drawing fuller drawings 💦 there was a lot of 'trust the process' since the original sketch didn't have too much to work with, but i think it ended up interesting! i hope it when i finish it for summer it'll become fuller

#since this blog purpose was originally for process; i think it's nice if now and then i break things down #i'm not sure if it interests people but i find art process always very neat!#it was hard to choose the right sketch because the others were pretty nice too; i think i might pick them up somewhere in the far future
