do you have any headcanons for Lannes or Duroc? :3
Jean Lannes & Géraud Duroc Headcanons.
I got it, and here’s some rambles for fun :)
There’s the stereotype where he’s lowkey cray cray type of wild-ish brave, but I think it’s a half truth. He’s a brave character, in which he’s not afraid to take the risk. But he’s also considerate of the consequences if he does take them, he’s smart in determining his own decisions.
As a friend, he’s loyal. He’s loyal in which he doesn’t betray you or acts one sided with you, he’s fully himself with you. He supports you in a lot of things you do, but will advise you or speak his mind if you do something that’s not ideal in his mind. He’s there for you, if you’re also there for him. Also as a friend, he’s a good gossiper I feel but never gossips about you to others though. He’ll never leave your side, till death do us part type of friendship…ahem.
As a lover, he can be serious. He’s giving you his heart, and yours vice versa so it should be treated with care. He can be romantic, in a way when he does develop romantic feelings, he’ll put in the effort. He’ll care for you both financially and emotionally (physically too just honest five kids) and he’s an active lover, not nonchalant. But he’s the type in which you betray him once? It’s over. He doesn’t like being played around in that aspect.
He’s down to earth, he’s quite humble. He’s the type of guy who wouldn’t really forget his roots, even if he’s already high up in status. I see that he’s the type of person who’ll help around those who need it, when he has the time and resources. He’s not arrogant at all, I see it. Need thousands francs for building a school? He’ll put in the help idk. But he’s not wasteful.
Also hear me out as I might look into this, if he was a lover I feel he rights great letter not sure. The type of letters you might giggle at, or definitely read over and over. He has a way with that.
One thing about him, from what I’ve read is that he’s loyal. He’s loyal in a way that’s not fanatical, but rather he already made up his mind that you’re good enough in his book. Not in an a ‘I’m better than you’ way, more on the ‘I think you’re a good character’ analysis.
If you’re his friend, he won’t leave your side that easily. If you’re good and you two have the same outlook on things, besties for life (boney and his death reference ehem), but he doesn’t make that much close friends that easy. He’s careful with choosing his friends, I feel.
If you’re romantically involved, I think it would follow a similar rhythm. He’s a good lover, in which he would be understanding. If you can’t be with him? Understood, or others (family/society) don’t approve of your relationship? Okay no worries. He understands things, in which he doesn’t take it just through one lens. But if he does end up in a serious one, he doesn’t really play around with it. He doesn’t like to play childish games.
One thing about him is that he’s dedicated and ambitious. He was ambitious enough to get into a good position, regardless of his background or his connection with boney. He was able to get to his place through his own will and skills. He’s also quite disciplined, but not strict. Just that he has a rhythm he’s used to. Boney said it himself that when he’s just about to sleep, duroc just started his day.
I see him as an approachable person, might seem just a tad bit intimidating but he’s calm. He’s smart, but not quite witty. Just smart enough to carry a conversation without putting you down I see.
