Maya felt that was a good explanation. The young medium was sort of surprised she got Miles to agree to this in the first place , this was a little more than just fixing his hair , after all.  The hairbrush in Maya ‘ s hand was proof of that. 

Maya examined her brother for a moment , like she was plotting the best way to go about this.  Shortly enough , she began gently running the brush through his hair.

She didn’t sit , instead she stayed on her feet , joyfully rocking back and forth on the heels of her feet. She held her hands behind her back , as if she was trying to hide something from the prosecutor.
