* gabriel : 

         it feels like a movie scene, her clad in a leather jacker standing a few feet away from gabriel’s house underneath his window like a female romeo. for a split second she considers tossing a pebble up, but she’s seen enough to know there’s a thin line between a tap & a broken window. hoisting herself onto the tree, skylar’s muscle memory kicks in as she climbs her way over to the brunet’s balcony – a familiar path even though she hasn’t done this since their childhood. the branch wobbles, but skylar welcomes the fear – a reminder that in this moment she’s alive despite how easily she could plummet to her death ( a soft voice whispers would that be so bad ? ). sighing, she swings her long legs off the tree & onto more solid ground, immediately knocking on gabriel’s window in the hopes that he answers.

     𝐓𝐇𝐄  𝐑𝐎𝐎𝐌  𝐈𝐒  𝐌𝐎𝐒𝐓𝐋𝐘  𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐄𝐓 ,   music  only  loud  to  avoid  the  complete  silence  that  has  been  gabe’s  archenemy  since  his  nursery  days .  in  itself ,  it’s  a  rarity .  it’s  easy  to  catch  the  knock  on  his  window ,  the  book  that  had  moments  prior  been  the  solely  holder  of  his  attention  is  discarded  to  the  colossal  bed  as he gets up .  even  as  he  crosses  the  distance ,  there’s  a  name  on  his  mind  of  who  could  be  his  visitor .  ❛  back  already ?  it’d  be  easier  to  move  here ,  xav .  ❜  but  it’s  not  xavier  waiting  for  him  and  the  surprise  brings  a  widespread  grin .  and  skylar  is  always  a  great  surprise .  ❛  and  you’re  not  xav .  wait ,  are  we  back  to  the  2000s ?  ‘cause  i’m  not  cool  with  giving  back  my  inches ,  i  survived  puberty  for  them .  ❜  in  whatever  way  you  want  to  take  it .  ❛  come  on ,  ❜  he  ushers  her  in .  ❛  what’s  up ?  ❜

tinsley took a deep breath, looking through the contents of the box in her hands, before she knocked on the door. the remnants of her relationship with gabe sat inside, every present he’d given her, every sweatshirt she’d stolen (except one she couldn’t bear to give back). “hey,” she said as casually as she could. “um, this is all your stuff. i — i’m sorry i took so long to bring it back.” @mvrques​

     𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄  𝐇𝐀𝐃  𝐁𝐄𝐄𝐍  𝐑𝐄𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏𝐒  𝐁𝐄𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐄 ,  but  this  ⏤  this  very  cinematic  moment  (  and  not  one  of  the  good  ones  )  ⏤  was  a  first .  and  as  he  stood  there ,  hazel  hues  uncertain  if  to  focus  on  the  blonde  or  the  box ,  he  didn’t  know  what  to  say .  that  too  was  a  first .  he  didn’t  have  any  illusions  that  tinsley  would  ever  take  him  back ,  she  was  too  smart  for  that ,  but  he  wasn’t  ready  for  the  finality  that  comes  from  that  simple  act.  maybe  he  had  been  a  little  deluded .  ❛  hey ,  ❜  he  managed  finally .  hopefully , it  hadn’t  taken  as  long  as  it  felt  like .  ❛  you  didn’t  need  to  bring  this  back ,  tee .  that’s  your  stuff ,  not  mine .  ❜  they  ceased  to  be  his  the  moment  he  gave  them  to  the  girl .  what  the  hell  would  he  do  with  all  that ?  ❛  if  you  don’t  want  it  anymore ,  you  can  just  throw  it  away .  ❜

the slight tap on gabe’s window shouldn’t have come as surprise. throughout the years, xavier had been perfecting his climb up the side of the house. each step was becoming second nature ( even after a few drinks ). the boy was growing impatient, another tap following. “hey, asshole. let me in. i’ve gotta tell you something.” // @mvrques

     𝐓𝐇𝐄  𝐅𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐓  𝐓𝐀𝐏  𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐆  𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐌  his  room  was  all  he  needed  to  know  exactly  who  it  was .  one  would  think  that  the  way  too  old  and  ostentatious  double  doors  would  be  a  perfectly  fine  way  to  get  to  the  inside  of  his  house ,  but  some  of  his  friends  (  one  in  special  )  preferred  the  less  conventional  way .  his  hair  still  dripped  and  his  torso  lacked  any  clothes  when  he  exited  his  bathroom .  ❛  chill ,  dude .  i  can’t  just  quit  on  my  relaxing  bath  like  that .  ❜  he  was ,  of  course ,  talking  shit .  once  the  window  was  open  he  disappeared  into  his  closet  only  to  come  back  seconds  later ,  yanking  a  shirt  over  his  head .  ❛  okay ,  i’m  decent .  what  is  it ?  and ,  please ,  make  it  good ,  i  need  something  to  save  today .  ❜
