Hello! We're Mint Phalanx. Mint Phalanx is a group of people sharing a brain since 2019. Tumblr is where we're going to promote our books, self-published under the name Reanna Field. And we'll also do some non-promotion posting.

Reanna: Does anyone else edit and proofread while writing a draft?

Reanna: Barnes & Noble Press now requires books to have a minimum retail price of $14.99, so Carnival is now $14.99.

Reanna: I worried Mio's phone wouldn't have enough storage for his evidence gathering. Then, I learned it can hold up to 512 GB of storage.

I decided he bought a Samsung Galaxy S24+ in February 2024. He wanted a new phone in case he got drafted to a team. (Which he did.)

Now, I want a new tablet. Mine only has 16 GB of storage. :(

Reanna: Our first non-donation ask from the Mysterious Cat for April Fools.

We usually use our system name in games because we all end up playing it. But when we play Bejeweled, it is always Bayleaf.

This wasn't as intimidating as I thought. Maybe because it was automated.

Reanna has yet to do her "is he risen?" routine with Mia. It goes like this:

Mia: Meow ("I want chicken.")

Reanna: "Is he risen?"

Mia: Meow ("I said I want chicken.")

Reanna: "Is he risen?"

Mia: Meow ("Stop that!")

Reanna: I didn't understand 1979 being the year goth formed. The Scream by Siouxsie and the Banshees was released in 1978. The Batcave opened in 1982.

Then, I learned about Le Phonographique from Wikipedia. It opened in 1979 and is considered the birthplace of the subculture.

Okay, I'm not confused anymore.

SL: I decided I did so poorly with The Murder After and The Year After that I'm pulling them from circulation. I'm not saying I wished I never wrote them. They created Terrance (and Liam.) I'm saying I didn't do a good enough job to make them worthy of sharing. Now, you can only find them in a shadow library.

Maybe I'll still fix them, just in case I change my mind.

Reanna: Onix has four chapters now.

Reanna: Trade in Traffic go brrr.

I know what I want to write, and I want to write it. But I also want to draw. At least I want to draw the characters.

I also want to redraw a picture of Amy Lee, but that's another issue.

Reanna: It took me five chapters to realize Mio would be calling the other players teammates. I think I'll change it in the second draft.

SL: I think I'm going to share The Murder After and The Year After on DeviantArt with my corrections instead of selling them. I think they'll do better there. The style was very unorthodox, anyway.

Reanna: Last night, I redesigned the Denver Buntings' logo. I like this one because it actually looks like a Lark Bunting.

Reanna: If our summers were like this winter, we'd never need an AC. It's 81 degrees Fahrenheit, but the cold wind helps keep the apartment from getting hot.

Reanna: I haven't made a story this long before. Trade in Traffic is already 42 pages, and I haven't even gotten halfway through the plot. I just started chapter seven, which would now make the page count 43. This might actually be our first novel.

Oh, and SL pulled The Murder After and The Year After from sale to prepare for fixing. He doesn't want anyone buying them and learning why they're bad. So for now, all you can buy on Barnes & Noble's website is Carnival.
