max sat himself, things had gotten a bit much for him today but as much as he was enjoying his time making new friends in crownsville, it was still new to him. h’ed been here a week, if even that and he was finding it extremely difficult to fit in and enjoy himself other times. but he was sitting alone, his back against the wall as he listened to music and read his book.
Okay, this is also a little late, but I gotta say happy birthday to this precious Aussie. Felix Lee, adorable, loving, ambitious, talented, and winner of the award for whose voice doesn’t match their face. He’s a living meme and Stays would all agree we wouldn’t have him any other way. I’m so proud of him. For everything he’s done. I love him so much. So, here’s a Red Flower Felix Moodboard❤️
“Look I am not in the mood right now okay, so whatever you have to say it can wait till later.” Cooper replied as she closed his eyes before resting his head in his hand. “ It’s a good thing I have work in the morning because could drink till I pass out right now, it’s just been one of those days.”
max was caught off guard, his eyes looking down at the man who was sitting and he wet his lips. “sorry.. i’m not.. actually trying to bother you.” he just wanted to ask him where the coffee shop was.
[ lee felix, eighteen, male, he/him] ━ hey, I just saw [ max kim ] walking down the streets of crownsville. they’ve lived in town for [ 1 week ], and you can catch them around town working as a [ high school student ]. I hear they’re known to be [ kind hearted & helpful ] and [ naive & awkward ]. if asked, they would say their aesthetic would be [ seashells, drawing, music ].
( born heo joon jae ) max’s parents moved from south korea, to crownsville a few months before he was born with their eldest twins, daughter, yoona and their son gookdu. they were seven when max was born and their family was happy. max was a healthy kid, he grew up bein active. he liked going to the beach with his family and he always loved music.
when he was four years old a few days before starting kindergarden, his mother, who suffered from narcolepsy had taken him out to the park while his brother and sister were at school and their father was working. but unfortunately while they were at the park, his mother fell asleep leaving him to his own devices. the four year old, being curious wandered off on his own.
he came across an older woman, chae-ah, who had been visiting her mother in crownsville, from atlanta, was baffled thinking that max had been abandoned, which wasn’t the case at all. she decided, instead of taking max to the police station that she was better off keeping him and bringing him up along her son who was just a year older than max.
she changed his name from joon jae to max and took him home with her. telling her husband that he was her nephew and that her mother couldn’t bring him up anymore. her husband was more than happy to help bring him up along side their own son.
max grew up happy.
soon memories of his real parents and real siblings were becoming distant and eventually they were forgotten. though max always felt like there was something that wasn’t right but not once did he ever question it, glad to just have a family who loved and cared for him.
his brother was his best friend, the two of them really close although they had other friends the two of them always had each other and trusted each other with everything.
but as max turned 16, things went to shit. his life was turned upside down when he found out that his parents weren’t his parents, and his brother and bet friend wasn’t in fact his brother. and it only got worse from there when he found out that he wasn’t related to them at all.
his biological parents had finally found him, and they wanted him back. but the court cases, and everything else was dragged on and on and eventually it took two years before they finally managed to get max back while his adopted mother was put in jail.
being brought back to crownsville was hard on him he had two siblings that he didn’t remember and his parents, it felt, like he was being suffocated by them.
he’s slowly beginning to spiral, because the life he had was fine, and now he’s been thrown into a world where everything is different, and nothing seems right. although he’s trying his best to live in this life that he should have been in.
and he feels ease knowing that his adopted father and brother have moved to crownsville to be near him but honestly in reality he isn’t coping well and is confused with this massive change to his life and he just wants things to go back to how they were before.
