on the subject of Josuyasu, I just also wanna point out that every time we see Josuke act truly recklessly, it's when Okuyasu is in danger.
"Oh but his hair!" The way he reacts to talking bad about his hair isn't reckless, it's angry. That's the whole reason he's able to beat Rohan, he's so blinded by anger he doesn't even notice the PDB manga. But he didn't charge into the room when he was angry, did he? He charged in with his eyes closed because Okuyasu's life was in danger. Rohan's comment about his hair wasn't to draw him into the room, it was to get him to open his eyes and look at Rohan.
What else, you ask? Do I have more examples? Babes you know I do!
The introduction to Tonio. Gorgeous little mini arc, love Tonio. Josuke spies on Tonio and runs into the kitchen only when he thinks Okuyasu is in danger.
Super Fly. When Josuke first enters Super Fly and realizes he's trapped, he's angry, yes, but also rational. He thinks about what he's doing. But by the end of the Super Fly arc, he's beaten bloody and acting with a reckless disregard for his own life. Throwing himself around the tower, entering it of his volition to save Mikitaka when Mikitaka was perfectly okay with staying there and wasn't even worried about dying. So what changed? What made it so started acting recklessly? What's the big difference between Josuke when he first gets trapped in Super Fly and Josuke by the time he defeats Toyohiro?
Okuyasu is bleeding out. Josuke manages to dodge Super Fly's return of their attacks, but Okuyasu doesn't, and it's made very obvious to Josuke after he's trapped in Super Fly that he's working on a time limit, because Okuyasu is bleeding out feet away from him. That is when Josuke starts acting recklessly.
And then we get to the ultimate example; Another One Bites the Dust arc. The last arc. The arc where, famously, Okuyasu dies and only comes back because he wants to return to Josuke and Morioh. When Okuyasu is dead, Josuke doesn't just act recklessly, he acts with zero regard for his own life. He insists upon touching Okuyasu's body even knowing it's likely a bomb and if it wasn't for Hayato, he would have done so. Josuke sets aside his safety (and Hayato's safety) because Okuyasu is dead. He doesn't care as he gains more and more injuries or more property gets damaged, all he cares about is Okuyasu. All he cares about is dragging Okuyasu's body with him.
He acts as if his life doesn't matter while Okuyasu is dead and it's only after Okuyasu returns to life that he begins to care about what happens to him again.
In conclusion, your honor, the closet is glass and they're so clearly in love
