Market in the Morning [Open]
Seasonal summer produce and locally made spices took quite a lot of space in Bianca’s tote bag. The outdoor market just outside of Striaton City was bustling with many people and Pokemon. The weather was hot, but the clouds obscured the sun every now and then so that the market visitors were not exhausted by it. A nice breeze blew by every now and then to cool off everyone. It was far more forgiving than the past week’s humidity. Dressed in a cute yellow sundress with a straw sun hat and sandals, the blonde stopped by each and every stall to gather up ideas for a certain holiday that was around the corner. A nice dinner consisting of his favorite foods would surely make her dad feel special tomorrow.
Being the day after payday, Bianca felt the desire to grab as many things that caught her attention. Everything in the market was all so tempting. Handmade jewelry and clothing for humans and Pokemon were sold in several stalls. How adorable would her Stoutland look if he had a fashionable collar? And there were even matching bracelets for the trainers too. However, none of the designs seemed to work. The ones she really liked, she knew her Stoutland would not appreciate quite as much and it wouldn’t be fair to her to have to wear something she didn’t like. She figured they would have some other designs in a couple of weeks or so and passed on by. The next stall sampled cold pressed juices made from different combinations of berries. Another one sampled Pokemon treats, from which she bought a bag. The list could go on and Bianca’s tote bag only got heavier while she got hungrier.
Several street vendors were located throughout the area and Bianca walked by every one of them to check out what they were serving. Some looked very appetizing, though pricey and others just seemed ok or she wasn’t in the mood for what they were serving. She settled on one of the pricier vendors, figuring it was best to pay more for something she’d actually want. While making her way to the line, she failed to notice that someone was walking in the opposite direction in her path. Thankfully, none of her items suffered any damage when her tote bag ran right into them.
“Oh jeez, I’m really sorry!” She apologized immediately, fixing her hat and readjusting her bag. “I wasn’t looking where I was going. Are you ok?”
