Hana had been in the infirmary for less than fifteen minutes but she already wanted to leave. The crowded place was too much, the stench of people was intoxicating, specially after she spend months upon months without any company. It felt strange, made her feel uncomfortable. Their stares didnât help, the satyr had told her this place was filled with demigods, told her that in here she could be normal but so far all she got were weird glances. Why? Hana couldnât know. The girl had no idea how skinny she was or how pale she looked, the girl was completely oblivious as to how weak she looked and of how bad her health was. It was to be expected, Hana barely ate, barely had time to take care of herself. All she focused on was running and staying safe from any weird attacks.Â
Her mind kept going what the satyr had told her, she was trying to remember it all. She had been here once before but she couldnât remember a lot, only the orange shirts, campfire and arguments. Part of her brain had shut down that week, after all why would a fourteen year old have to believe that she was a demigod? Shaking her head she looked at the person walking her way. Without thinking about it twice she spoke up. âWhen can I leave?â Hana didnât stop to introduce herself, or to ask who the person was or if they worked in the infirmary, the girl was too shaky to think properly. All the daughter of Selene wanted was to leave, go to a place where she didnât need to listen to others.
Gen was often a regular visitor for the infirmary. Sheâd done it once again, end up in a fight with another camper that hadnât ended well. At all. She was covered in brusies, cuts, and she looked incredibly pale. It was with great reluctance that she returned to her bed, after having been caught by a healer trying to sneak out. She wasnât one for looking after herself, anyone whoâd seen her during training could see that. She just kept throwing herself into it, when she was clearly too weak to cope. It was no wonder sheâd lost so badly.Â
As she was walking, she was stopped, a frown forming at the question posted to her. Genevieve raised an eyebrow at the other, a look of pure annoyance on her face. âDo I look like Iâm a healer?â The girl replied, gesturing the wounds that hadnât yet been cleaned as sheâd tried to escape. âIf I was, Iâd feel sorry for the state of this entire fuckinâ camp.â
