random question, but do you happen to know what the most popular ships in monsta x are?

I'd say hyungwon (hyungwon and wonho) showhyuk (shownu and minhyuk) jookyun (jooheon and changkyun) and honeypuppy/joohyuk (minhyuk and jooheon)

Shownu: Would do a double take. He would be so surprised like how come he never saw this before?? He’d be really subtle about it, maybe ask when they got it done and then leave it but would steal glances at it whenever his s/o have their hair up. He really likes it

Wonho: Wow! Unlike Shownu he would ask a million questions and then wonder if he should get one too. Would it suit him? Of course it would, everything looks good on him. The most likely to get one himself and yes, it would look amazing on him. Would ask his s/o if they can have matching hairstyles and they’d look so good 

Kihyun: Apart from being taken aback at first he wouldn’t think much about it. May tease them occasionally by asking what else they’re hiding from him. Tattoos? Piercings?? 

Minhyuk: Would bombard them with questions. He never expected this of his friend but they look amazing! Good luck to them because he’d constantly keep trailing his fingers over it and just marvelling at how much it suits them 

Hyungwon: He would be shocked at first but it would wear off pretty quickly. He can’t get over how good it looks and would get caught multiple times just staring at them

Jooheon: Like Minhyuk the questions would never stop. He’d forget about it and then !!! the next time he see’s it again. He would never get tired of seeing it/asking his friend to show it off as much as possible

Changkyun: He wouldn’t be that surprised. Probably the least likely out of all the members to react. He’d compliment them, tell them it looks good and then just leave it at that

Shownu: would seem perfectly fine on the outside but is freaking out internally. Rakes his brain to look for moments where he might have been unintentionally insensitive towards his friend. Does research to keep himself informed and educated. Would shyly bring up the topic and ask his friend to tell him if he ever does anything to make them feel uncomfortable

Wonho: wouldn’t be fazed at all. Seems the most accepting and open minded out of all the members so he wouldn’t treat them any differently from before. Would probably ask loads of questions only because he wants his s/o to feel comfortable around him

Minhyuk: would probably get taken aback but only because he doesn’t understand if that means anything will change with the relationship. Does their s/o need him to do anything? Is he acting differently around them? He’d want to sit down and talk to them to make sure they know he doesn’t care, he still loves them

Kihyun: would probably need some time to process it. Hopes his friend doesn’t think its because he doesn’t approve, but because he just needs time to let it sink in. Doesn’t know if it will affect their friendship but is willing to go on as before, since they are the exact same person he befriended in the first place

Hyungwon: would thank his s/o for telling him, feels honoured that they feel comfortable enough around him to tell him. Would also ask loads of questions simply because he wants to know more about them. He’d make sure they feel comfortable in social gatherings from then on and would never divulge information unless his s/o specifically asked him to

Jooheon: super supportive. Would be aware of the amount of courage it took their s/o to tell him and loves them even more for it. Almost giddy because he’s so happy. Feels like the relationship has progressed and makes sure to express his gratitude to his s/o as much as possible

Changkyun: is torn. On one hand, is grateful that his friend told him, on the other, is almost confused since he doesn’t really understand what it means. Asks them to sit down and talk with him since he truly cares about them and is willing to make any changes if needed

Most of your dates with him will probably consist of eating ramen together because you both love those curly noodles so much. However, he would love to spoil you by taking you shopping and treating you to nice, fancy restaurants. Even though you will be protective of him, he will be VERY protective of you and will be very prone to jealousy. When he sees you talking to some of his friends without paying attention to him, it will probably make his blood boil a little. The best thing about being with Wonho are the back hugs he will give you out of nowhere.

Hi there! I was wondering if I could be shipped? I’m 5’4, have short brown hair and very blue eyes. I’m also vampire pale T^T. I’ve been doing theatre since the age of seven and I really love to sing and dance. I’m pretty outgoing and I spend a lot of my free time either with my friends or reading. I also have a proficient grasp on Korean so the language barrier shouldn't be an issue~! Thank you!
