I absolutely adore these photos of the gifts I left on Dan’s resting spot plus some others left by other people. It’s so precious and heart warming to remember people care so much about him still. I’m sure he is so happy to see his decorations from above. 🤍

Hi. I run a memorial tumblr for a mother and daughter who were murdered in 1984 in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne Australia. I lived in their street and will never forget the night the police came to our door.

Christmas project of Charity:

today i bought lots of toys to donate for the little children in need who are refugees from Venezuela. As everyone knows the situation in their country is getting harder everyday and they’re moving to other countries in search for a better life. These toys are being donated in Corey’s name & memory. As everyone knows, he had a compassionate heart & loved children very much. This is in his honor. (The letters are written in Spanish because that’s their native language.)

This year for Marine Corps day in Corey’s honor,i have donated meals+toys to animal shelters.💚

And for a campaign to help children in need on holidays,i’m donating this present in Corey’s name & memory to a five year old little boy who asked on his letter,for a Spider-Man as his Christmas gift. I’m also sending him a keychain of the guardian angel prayer.

For those who don’t know,Corey loved children very much. He dreamed of becoming a father and sharing his faith with his children. I always donate meals or toys to children in need on his Birthday & Christmas.❤️

I’m always reminded of your grace wherever I go and through anything I do. #TakeAfterDan has helped people, even strangers, in amazing ways. This year I’ve donated 12 bags of clothes, 1 bag of shoes, 1 bag of toys, 2 Christmas boxes for kids, money, and food bags for the homeless. All of this was done in Daniel’s name and I couldn’t be more grateful to do this in his honor.

I know if you were here, you would be donating Christmas gifts and organizing gun-control speeches and meetings with Tom, like he’s been doing in your honor. We fight for you everyday to keep your memory alive. What a divine angel you are, so pure and innocent looking. I don’t believe he’d even hurt a fly. His eyes were filled with joy as they sparkled. And those glasses he wore sit perfectly on his soft face. I wish dearly you were here to celebrate Christmas and New Years with us, but I will always celebrate you and the marvelous life you lived. Forever in love.

This was installed by the Boy Scout Troops in the summer of 1999.💛 It’s located at South Rim Trail at Roxborough State Park which is 10 miles south from Columbine.🥺 I don’t own these pics, all credit goes to Tom and the people who funded this bench. I’m so grateful that people want to cherish the life he had and keep his memory strong. This is beautiful.

I have started a folder for Daniel titled “The Daniel Mauser Collection” where I type up letters and put all his photos at. 🙏🏻 I am still doing #TakeAfterDan and doing charity or kindness acts in Dan’s name! It’s just my username, I usually refer to him as OUR angel, because it’s what he is. Tom and Christine have both acknowledged my IG and Tumblr and are thankful for it. I’ve already said this. Go somewhere else and be hateful.

I recently added a poll asking whether I should donate clothes or food and the majority of you voted for food donations!

This came in the mail so I decided to be a part of this since it’s making an impact in my community.

#TakeAfterDan will be written on a positive “thank you” card that I place in the bag of food with an explanation of why this project was started. I started Take After Dan to carry on his legacy. Daniel loved to help others and was very compassionate in what he did, he stood up to bullying and was a good friend to many. Giving back in his name carries on his good deeds.

Hearing the sound of shooting, the popular business teacher, who also coached girls’ basketball and softball, raced from the faculty lounge to the cafeteria, where he jumped onto a chair and shouted to the more than 300 students to get down and take cover. “I truly believe he saved my life and the lives of many other people,” freshman Lindsey Dowling, 15, said at his April 26 memorial service. A native of Newtown, Ind., Sanders started at Columbine in 1975. It was the only teaching job he ever held—or wanted. Over the years, the twice-married father of four daughters and grandfather of five children became a fixture at the school. On his last day, after clearing out the cafeteria, he ran toward the library but was gunned down on the way and died three hours later as students struggled to Save him. “As soon as I heard one of the teachers went to protect the kids, I knew it was Dave,” says friend Greg Lighty. “He always did the right thing.”
