This palette had 9 foiled shadows, 2 shimmer shadows, and 7 matte shadows. There are a lot of beautiful jewel tones and fun bright colors as well. This matte shades a very pigmented and blend beautifully. The foiled shades are stunning!!! I would apply the foiled shades with a dense flat brush or just your finger. I had fun creating this look and I honestly have soooo many ideas for this palette. You can purchase this palette at @ultabeauty for only $15!!! I’ve always loved @makeuprevolution because they make some really amazing product that are super affordable. Name your favorite drugstore concealer in the comments. I am fully obsessed with the @milanicosmetics Conceal+Perfect Longwear Concealer. I use Deep Tan for under eye highlight and Warm Almond to spot conceal. The formula is super creamy and full coverage. A little goes a very long way. The price point is amazing at only $8.99. I have had no issues with creasing at all and my eyes look hydrated and bright. This concealer comes in 18 shades from Pure Ivory to Cool Cocoa. It claims to be water-resistant. I did go to the beach with just this concealer on and it stayed put even after I was wiped out by a huge wave. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this concealer. I have already stocked up on a few more bottles and i’m not even close to using the first ones I purchased. How do you feel about foundations with SPF? Be sure to follow @Beautemarie for more product reviews I recently purchased the new @maybelline Urban Cover Foundation at my local @Target. The cost was $10.99 for 1 ounce. The consistency is thin but not watery. You can definitely smell the sunblock. The scent is very strong when you are applying the foundation, but goes away by the time you’re done with your makeup. The coverage is beautiful but still looks like skin. I don’t know how they have a thin and still full coverage foundation, but they do. The foundation only comes in 16 shades which is pretty weak, but thankfully I was able to find my shade. I am 348 Cafe Au Lait. I was super excited about this foundation launch and when I applied it, I was so impressed by the finish and coverage………..Cut to 1 hour later when I looked a grease ball and the foundation started to separate from my nose and laugh lines. I was devastated!!!! I gave this product a full week of attempts. I tried it with the most matte primers and powders I have and nothing worked. Since I spent money on it I will continue to use it for picture purposes, but I CAN NOT recommend this for anyone with oily/combination skin. What’s your favorite highlighter? Did you know @airspunofficial made highlighters now?!?!?!?!?!!!! Neither did I. I was in @Walmart seeing what was new in #drugstoremakeup and I walked past the Airspun display. I noticed the packaging was different on some of the powders. Duh 😒 they were different because they wasn’t their normal setting powders, they were highlighters. 😊 I think there were 3-4 shades. I purchased Glow With The Gold and Pink Me Up. I don’t know the other shade names, but they were way too light for me to even try. The cost was around $5(sorry, lost the receipt). The product comes with the puffy sponge like their regular powder which I thought was kind of weird. I just put the puff to the side and used my normal highlight brush. The shades that I got were still on the light side for someone with my complexion or deeper, but I made it work. The highlighter is very finely milled and blends so well into the skin. The product stays on all day with our fading. For a around $5 you get 8.8g of product. Pink Me Up is my favorite shade out of the two. Shade Dupe: Glow With The Gold = @artistcouture Illuminate Pink Me Up = @artistcouture Purple Dream Though @artistcouture has those amazingly stunning glitter effects. The shades are the same. So it you are looking to save some coins, I would give this highlighter a try. What is your favorite foundation to wear in the summer? In the summer time I do not like to wear heavy makeup. My everyday makeup routine is the bare minimum. Since I do have some issues with some scars from old breakouts, I like a light foundation to even everything out. This is where @rimmellondonus Lasting Finish 25HR Breathable Long Wear Foundation(I’m in the shade 503 Mocha). That’s quite a mouth full. 😜 Despite the heavy name, this foundation is very light weight. It has SPF 18 and has a satin like finish. The finish is very skin like and looks amazing. My favorite thing about about this foundation…………..it’s only $6.99!!!!!!! Now I don’t know about wearing any foundation for 25HRs, but this foundation does last. I currently live in Texas and the summers here are horribly hot, but I have no issues with this foundation melting off my face. It stays put and I doesn’t make my skin look extra oily either. I love the colors and they complement each other. The shadows are very pigmented and blend so well. #SwipeLeft for swatches. The palette is $24 for 6 beautiful shades. If you haven’t already heard, @ipsy now has the Glam Bag Plus for $25. I’m glad they finally decided to have an option for full sized products. I’ve received 3 boxes so far and I’m very impressed. It removes my makeup off so well. My skin feels so soft and smooth when I rinse. It actually feels like I conditioned my face. Price: $28 2. @ciatelondon Eye Lustre Creme Eyeshadow - I received the color Cupid. It’s a beautiful shade, but the product was not easy to work with. It can take a while to actually dry. I have hooded lids and I had to wait a few minutes to be able to apply the product to my other eye. It also dried a bit patchy. You can use it with a fluffy brush to create a nice glitter effect. I wouldn’t use you finger because it will start to dry and the wet product will pick up the dry product. Price: $22 3. @purcosmetics PRO Eyelash Curler - I was honestly disappointed by this product. My lashes are already curly so I’ve never needed one of these, but I can use this one clients who need to curl their lashes. But I do feel like this product is priced way too high. Price: $18 4. @lunabylunacosmetics Lip Gloss in Venus - I really like the packaging and I love the shade. It’s a great nude shade has the right amount sparkle. It feels so conditioning and isn’t sticky at all. It looks good with or without a liner. Price: $18 5. @alamarcosmetics Colorete Blush Trio - I received the Dark-Rich trio and I am obsessed. This is an amazing palette for deep complexions. All three shades are beautiful. I even used the palette for my eye look. They blend like a dream and the packaging is stunning!!! They only had the color Blaze at the store, but it works well with my complexion. It’s a soft rose gold shade that packs a punch. You can build it up without it looking crazy. The formula is smooth and buttery. It’s not chunky or glittery. I got mine for $3 at Five Below but I don’t see it sold on its own on the Tattoo Junkee website. They have a Glo-Lite Summer Sun trio with the shade in it for $12.99(which is still a good price). It feels fresh on and doesn’t leave you skin feeling cakey. I’m in the shade 515: Copper. I get so many compliments on my skin when I wear this foundation. It matches my skin so well, it’s amazing. I have very oily skin but I don’t have any issues with excess oil throughout the day. My skin just looks fresh and flawless. Follow @beautemarie for more product reviews. I got the @purcosmetics Festival Palette in my April @Boxycharm. The shadows are beautiful, pigmented, and blend well. The glitters are a little tricky. If you pick up with too much, you can end up melting the shadow you have underneath the glitter. Let’s just say Less Is More. You also would still need a glitter glue. I used the @nyxcosmetics Glitter Primer and sealed it with Nyx’s Mixing Medium. For swatches, check out my Stories. Good thing I got mine in my Boxycharm because it is overpriced in my opinion. The product is very easy to use and reminds me a lot of the @stilacosmetics liquid shadows but at a fraction of the cost($24 vs. $4.99). The formula is great and the glitter is super pretty and not chunky at all. It takes a little bit longer to dry than the Stila Cosmetics one, but that's not a deal breaker for me. I start with the Brow Wow to get my brows in the shape that I want and to give them a natural fill. It has a waxy gel formula with fibers, so it does most of the work. Then I use the Ultra Precise Brow Pencil to fill in any sparse areas. This combo has given my brows the most natural “filled in” look and my brow routine is much faster. I’ve always loved Elf Cosmetics. I’ve heard mixed reviews so it took me a long time to make a decision to purchase. So far, so great! 🙌🏾This foundation is definitely full coverage and very matte. I have extremely oily skin, so it can be hard to find a foundation that truly stays matte. On my first day testing it, I went to the park with my daughter, showered, dyed my hair, and my skin is still matte and flawless!!!!! 👑I can finally go w FULL day without looking shiny.
