Contributor sign ups for this year are now open! They will be closed July 31, 2026 so come fill it out before then!

Whether you're a new Naruto/Boruto fan or one who's participated in previous years, we welcome artists and writers with all kinds of experiences to come sign up and join us!

And if you're afraid of the commitment, consider grabbing a partner to work with and help share the workload!

Thanks to everyone for the support and participation in the #chokaruiweek2026 doodle session! Special thanks to @twnj for their awesome work in detailing the Akimichi Initiation Ceremony, in which Choza welcomes Karui into their family; and Choji and Karui standing in the rain after the 4th War: "Rain washes away to reveal new beginnings."

I really love the "New Beginnings" prompt--bittersweet endings and memories, mixed with new starts and occasions. I believe one thing that goes unnoticed with Choji and Karui is how their insecurities are placed on them by others. The comments they receive are all things I've received at one point or another. But there's a time for everything: to heal, to love, and to celebrate with people who care about you.

Here's to new beginnings :)
