12/23/19 New whole house water filter installed

Watts system.  Definitely cleaned up some of the tainted water issues from the old city water pipes that we had been experiencing.

One filter is for sediment, one is for taste.

9/17/19 Cedar sealed and decks stained

We got a chance to seal the cedar and stain the decks..finally!  At the end of the build last year, our appetite for spending more money on the build diminished, so we decided to take care of this important task to keep the wood in pristine condition for at least three years (hopefully).

DAY 892

4/21/18 POST MOVE IN

Things are a bit more cleaned up..still tired from move and unboxing, but we have got the place in some semblance of order.  Getting used to new house sounds, too.  Floors adjusting to humidity levels.

These items were finished over the last 10 days.

Lutron device install.

LED lighting install.

Humidification continuing (around 36-38%).

Still need to finish these items:

Mailbox install (4/24).

Garage floor painting (4/27).

Basement carpeting.

Punch list items (cable/ethernet run to basement and lots of little other things).

4/10/18 MOVE IN DAY!!

After 881 days of build, we finally MOVED IN!!  YAHOO!!

But we still have finish work to do.

DAY 869

3/29/18 Punch list items continue, sconces/humidifier installed.

Due to the dry winter and no humidification, our white oak floor boards were starting to separate.  We since got a humidifier (Honeywell HE300A1005) and are in the process of rehumidifying the house from 22% to 40%.  Hopefully, this, some wood paste and a final sand/seal should fix the issue permanently.

3/25/18 Motorized shade installed.

No pics of final shades, as we got locked out of house.

Landscapers moved japanese maple and crepe mrytle.

3/2/18 Waiting on CO, lattice going up.

Thought CO was done; looks like town engineers need to approve grading plan, so slight delay.  Hoping for CO documents today.
