I, unfortunately, am one of those individual that takes their vitamins sporadically because I either forget or I don’t feel like dealing with the huge capsules that require three glasses of water to get down…and even then they get stuck in my throat. Sounds familiar? That alone is enough to make me turn away from vitamins and convince myself that “that I am getting enough vitamins from the food I eat.” But, if I am being honest, that is not always the case.
My outlook on vitamins changed when I tried OLLY. Now for those of you who may not heard of this company here’s a little bit about it:
The OLLY team is made up of “vitamin geeks” who focus on the most effective way of blending nutrients in order to help make the human body work at its best. The gummies and soft gels are created using natural sources and have plant-based phytonutrients and antioxidants such as green tea and cacao. There are no artificial sweeteners or colors.
The PR team at OLLY sent me two products to try out: Undeniable Beauty ($13.99) and Totally Calm ($13.99). I also ended up going out to Target (where OLLY is sold!) and picked up Ultimate Immunity ($13.99) and Women’s Multi (Berry) ($13.99) in order to have a more varied experience with the brand.
I’ve been taking these vitamins for close to a month now (and yes, I’ve been taking them every single day) and I have to say these vitamins are fantastic. They taste great, are easy to take, and above all have no harmful chemical.
Here is the breakdown for each:
Undeniable Beauty ($13.99):

What’s in them: Biotin (essential for healthy skin, hair, and nails), Vitamin C (helps the production of collagen), and Borage Oil (highest source of GLA).
My thoughts: These supplements are delicious (a lovely grapefruit flavor) and effective! I’ve noticed that my hair did grow faster and shinier than before. Same goes for my nails. I think the biggest draw for me with Undeniable Beauty is its effectiveness and the fact that the gummies are so good I feel like I’m eating candy!

What’s in them: GABA (amino acid that supports healthy moods and promotes acuity during times of stress), Vitamin B1, B12, Folic Acid (essential for the support of the nervous system functions), Theobromine (Cacao extract that gives you a little bit of a boost).
My thoughts: I like Rest & Calm very much. The capsules are small, easy to take, and the coating has a blueberry taste (not the artificial kind!). I’ve noticed that for me it’s best to take Rest & Calm at night because even though it has Theobromine, which is supposed to keep you from getting sleepy, I often find myself getting drowsy not long after taking the supplement. This isn’t a major problem for me because Rest & Calm helps me unwind from the day and settle into bed.
Ultimate Immunity ($13.99):

What’s in them: Vitamin C (supports the immune system), Zinc (strengthens the immune system in time of stress), and Beta Glucans (help your cells maintain their defenses).
My thoughts: These gummy supplements have been a life saver for me. T’is the season when everyone, and I mean everyone, seems to have a cold or is getting over a cold and it’s impossible to avoid being around germs. For me staying healthy is especially important around this time of the year because my work, school, and personal schedule becomes hectic. I am also prone to having a cold or two (okay…more like five or six) from October through February, so a little extra support for my immune system is welcome. Ultimate Immunity is probably the best immunity support vitamin I’ve tried (and I’ve tried a bunch of big name brands) when effectiveness is concerned. Although I am not a huge fan of the taste (there’s a bit of bitter aftertaste), I think these are worth it! I actually have to go down to Target and repurchase them because I am all out.
Women’s Multi (Berry) ($13.99):

What’s in them: D3 (200% of DV), E (100% of DV), B6 (150% of DV), B12 (150% of DV), Folic Acid (100% of DV), and Biotin (125% of DV).
My thoughts: First—these are delicious! Like little gummy candies filled with goodness that your body needs. Remember how I said that vitamins for me would feel like a chore? Well, these are a treat. I usually take mine after dinner (which satisfies my craving for something sweet).
Overall thoughts on OLLY:
OLLY is a great and fun line of vitamins. I love that they can be purchased at Target or on OLLY’s website and that there are no harmful chemicals, dyes, artificial flavors…because that seems counterproductive. We take vitamins to give our bodies a boost, but why take them if we’re also adding things that harm it?
I say give OLLY a try—you’ll be surprised!
