A little snippet from the Hollywood Film Festival’s kickoff party and west coast premiere of Scumbag. I played an acoustic version of my single “Nowhere Town” off the movie soundtrack. And so it begins. Reinventing self. This game of always acting as if everything is wonderful and I have it all under control is wearing me out. I am flawed, I am imperfect, I am overwhelmed, I am not an island and I need help from others. I never want to let anyone in because they might find out that I am a fraud. I do not know who I even am anymore. I fired my Instagram account manager and now I can see who is really paying attention. I apologize for the deceit and the glamorous egotistical display of the digital me. I have come to a state of acceptance and can now finally move forward. This year I turned 44 years old and I couldn't have asked for a better night. This woman right here is hands down the most loving, caring, kind, patient and compassionate person I've ever known. She is wise beyond her years and I am honestly flabbergasted at how much she loves me. I must have been a very good boy in a past life. Interviewing the son of one of the greatest comedians to ever grace the silver screen. On August 20th Jerry Lewis passed away and the world lost a very special soul and quite possibly the best comedian ever.
