not for nothing but the last four (4) gay characters introduced on twd all took an immediate and significant interest in connecting with/befriending Daryl Dixon 👀👀👀

See, this is why I have hope that the writers are laying the foundation for Daryl/Jesus. They established that Daryl isn’t homophobic by having him connect with Aaron, Eric, and Denise. He was comfortable enough to accept a dinner invitation from Aaron and Eric, and he went on runs with Aaron regularly. He was willing to go out of his way to demolish a vending machine to get the type of soda that Denise wanted to give to Tara, and he teased her (the bit where he subtly mimics her hand gestures will never not be funny to me), which is a sure sign of comfort and acceptance from him. 

They also torpedoed the Daryl/Carol ship. I shipped it early on, but I’ve seen the signs for the past couple of seasons, and in S6, they couldn’t have made it clearer that they aren’t going in that direction if they’d used neon signs.

Not to mention the fact that Daryl and Jesus’ first meeting was paint by numbers rom com. So yeah, I’m holding out a glimmer of hope that the writers are setting up a Daryl/Jesus relationship. I’d rather it didn’t take three seasons like Richonne did, but hey, as long as it’s the end game, I’ll wait.

I just discovered the Twitter page @firescottgimole and I'm DYINGGG lol

Um, I don’t find this funny at all. What that Twitter is doing is completely uncalled for and could be considered harassment. This actually pisses me off. That people would go to such lengths as to create a Twitter to harass a real human being because they don’t like the way a TV show is going. You know what would be the better option? Stop watching. Stop giving them views. If you really hate it that much and want to make a statement about it or whatever then that’s the way to do it. Especially since they’re placing all blame on Gimple and not on TPTB as a whole, including AMC. I don’t care if you hate Gimple or hate the writing, engaging in that type of behavior is wrong.
