Rest in peace to Prince Rogers Nelson. The Superstar we’ve all come to know and love as Prince, was found unresponsive in his studio elevator, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on April 21, 2016, and pronounce dead on the scene around 10:07 am. The popstar, trendsetting, icon, was 57 years of age. Cause of death has yet to be determined, yet sources like http://www.tmz.com are reporting that the singers fatality could be the result of a drug overdose of which he was treated, just six days ago.
Prince was truly a musical genius; playing at least 21 instruments, being a multiplatinum recording artist, as well as a producer, actor, and a legendary songwriter and dance. A superstar in his own right, yet magnificent star in the limelight. Some of his greatest hits, were, Purple Rain, Corvette, The Most Beautiful Girl In the World, Diamonds and Pearls, Kiss, and my all time favorite, When Doves Cry.
Some of the fondest memories of the legendary Prince are those stemming back to childhood, when I first laid eyes on what I presumed then, and declare now, was the most beautiful man I’d ever seen. Prince’s hair, clothing, shoes, and stage presence captivated me. As pretty as he was, the legend was a ladies man, who loved beautiful women, as aforementioned Prince’s Protege Vanity passed a few months ago, devastating us all. The music industry has suffered tremendously morning the loss, of The King of Pop, Michael Jackson, The Queen, Whitney Houston, and now we’ve lost our beloved Prince, may they all rest in peace.
