Prevent Bleeding Gums NOW!
Bleeding gums are basically caused by swollen gums, and this happens because of vitamin deficiency and lacking of oral care. It is the first phase or sign of gingivitis, a gum disease that is a major dental and oral disorder. There are many home remedies you can try to avoid this, to list a few, mouth rinsing with salt water and taking vitamin-c rich fruit are some. But even if you are not interested in doing these, bleeding gums can be prevented by improving our daily activities.
Over brushing can lead to gum disease. Try looking at the mirror and see if your gums seem receded. If there is, this is a crystal clear sign of over brushing.
To help prevent this from happening, try to brush at least twice a day using a soft brush partnered with fluoride toothpaste. Also, you may rinse using mouthwashes that are commercially available. Use washes that have fluoride and alcohol. Fluoride helps in cleaning and strengthening the entire mouth, while alcohol kills a lot of germs in the mouth and not just on teeth.
Check your diet. Sometimes, our poor and inconsistent diet is the main cause of dental problems. Love eating candies? Sweets and other sugary-mouthwatering foods? Okay, now we know!
If fructose, high starch corn syrup, and sugar are in the first three ingredients in the list, then no questions further, your food is loaded with sugar. Check the label and limit eating sugary-sweet foods.
Another food to limit is SODA. As much as possible, avoid drinking sodas. These are composed of about one-third sugar and are great if you want to have a complete set of false teeth by min 40’s.
Finally, make sure to have a date with your dentist. Visit him at least every three months or four times a year. He is the one who can really help you bring your mouth to the ideal state. Even Google can’t knock out your dentist. Remember, dentists are specialized people that are experts in oral health.
