its Christmas, wow what a year. so much has happened and I feel like I haven't changed as a person. like ive stagnated and im standing and watching everything pass right by. tonight its Christmas Eve I decided to go out. let off built up steam. but man going out with tins sister I cant help but feel my time for clubbing has gone. dont get me wrong I got drunka s a skunk I had my opportunities with a few ladies tonight but man. I dont want the one night stands I was never built for that. is it weird I needed to be drunk and then step back and realise and see all of this isn't worth it. focus on yourself. an let everything else come to you. ive always been a firm believer of fate.meeting people for the a reason. ive never doubted it and it has always brought me nothing. but good into my life.

it been a bit weird. since dads passing. its like business as usual but hes not here.i cant help but try and remind myself o the Times I spent with pops. not for me but more so for my mum. she's been going to the casino more often now. I wish she would look to work on herself but go into her comfort zone. but I hope one day she will.

where I'm at.

so its been a while since ive written on here. Geez a lot has happened. Alot of good, bad and the ugly. Im not gonna lie its be battle of emotions mentally and emotionally. Argh where do I begin.

Dads been through the works. Since the start of the year we all thought he was in the clear of the cancers. But it came back and in turn all his treatment has stopped and now the doctors have left him to enjoy whatever time left. We went through a few scares. Especially when he was left unconscious after he stopped treatment. We almost lost him here but he’s a fighter. But right now he went through some radiotherapy and lately hes able to talk and walk to when he was having treatment. The reality its a matter of time. Dont know when or where but times is cutting down for him. In the beginning I was a mess. But you begin to realise everything goes back goes back to Normal. Everyone seems to have accepted it and taking it as it comes.

holly im not gonna lie I actually saw something with her. Going there at the start of the year was great the first week in Hawaii was amazing. I couldn’t ask for much more. it felt like a dream I wish I never left. but towards the end she couldn’t handle it. I remember there was some miscommunication and disagreements. She was stubborn. I tried visiting her again in April but it was different. From my point of view my feelings never changed for her and deep down it hurt like a dagger to her for her its just lust. So im back to square one. Its over and im single ready to mingle again. she was lovely it hurts cause shes the type of woman id see myself settling for. The harsh reality is I know shell be happier without me. I miss you even thou you dont, its crazy just the simple things about you I miss. like the way your cuddle me in bed you always intertwine your legs with mine. or when you smile no one else matters. I missed you when you cared and wanted to know how my day was. but its over now. and I know you've moved on. so I say goodbye in another life id be with you wholeheartedly. I really didn’t want to be that guy just a forgot person on your list,

So im still stuck here at the shop working like a dog. The hours are starting to get to me. I find it harder and harder to keep coming. Knowing the shop isn’t Making money and at the same time my parents dont want to do anything. We haven’t even got it not the market. Ive told them numerous times I want out ro finding a replacement. But there so stubborn and im fighting myself because ive put myself here. I dont know what to do. Im 31 this year and I wish im out of there by then. It kills me knowing im isolated from the world. And im limited on the things I can do. I cant do the things I want to do, let alone take a girl out on a date or go Friday night drinks. I feel like im alone in this shop having to be the main guy. Cooking most the dishes. Whilst we understaffed but at the same time my brother and sister just dont put in enough effort. My sister only comes thuds-sun if lucky is not some event is coming up or she’s too hungover. And at the same time im left to look after the mortgage whilst they dont put in anything.

Im getting back into shape, since been broken up from holly I need to move on and keep myself busy with new things and finding my groove. m not gonna lie I started to put on weight some say its healthy weight but I didn’t care. I didn’t love myself. Im trying to do bjj once or twice a week. My mind set towards bjj has changed. It suet be all about train train and compete, now its just do it to see everyone and have a laugh whilst trying to sharpen my positions. Its not what it useto be. The competitive edge I useto have has gone. I guess since the last time I was ready Im not able to compete without copping it after with he shop. The time I useto have back then I dont have now. At the same time ive taken up swimming and sauna. I also started to learn the guitar. Ever since I was a kid I always wanted to learn it. But im taking it as it goes. See how far I can learn with it. If it wasn’t for Jason our family friend I wouldn’t had bothered. It kinda ironic as a kid I remember watching him when I was a little kid. how he played with his electric guitar and id just sit there and stare and be so fascinated. There actually a photo somewhere on my playing with a mini guitar and he right beside me playing as well.

What does the future hold, im not sure now I feel like im stuck in a vortex where I cant get out. I dont know maybe im still in my own self pity. But need to do it all on my own. there still plenty of options. Getting my motorbike license, could become a pilot. Maybe travel and work overseas. The other option is do some charity world overseas. Looking through the past its so weird I always had a sense of random directions where somehow things workout and for some reason im meant to be on this path. Right now where it takes me next. Im ready for it just not sure where.

Back on the grind back to getting my mindset and focusing on going forward and not dwell on the past. Ive still got alot to learn on and off the mats. Every day is a battle!

Learnt passing when in guard guys arm straigh on chect. Turn body against side being pressed and lean on elbow to sit up. Base legs squeeze knees and hip forward. Grip tricep and go for mount.

Continuation arm closet to shoulder wraps under and other arm wrist over thera for kimura. No gripping. Note hand sits above opponents wrist. Push back to hip also uses less strenght for bigger opponents and better control. Harder for then to straight e arm to recover

Hip out and lock guard abover hips wedging there wrist between there body and your leg. Straighten back/ use body to move away from opponent for submission.

Advanced class

Half guard arm under armpit control opposit lapel behind back. Other hand bases out. When opponent get over hook. Spread knee out and stand up. Uses your legs to intertwine theres for control. They will have either on knee and one foot or be standing. Hand controls pants for grip (they will be either standing left inside there feet and knee out) there arm will be still oberhook. You dont let go of lapel. Other hand control opposit lapel closet to neck and knucles into throat. They let go and you will have there back standing. Other leg now lift and sit next to there hip. The other is locked his other foot. Sit back whislt pulling him with you and get the back.

Second position same thing however half guard sit up control under hook and get opposite lapel. Base out hand and then spread the knee out. Situaltion when this happen they slice there knee out and base there knee. From there you grip the pants of the knee thats based and opposit leg goes opposite hip and base hand forward and lean in for triangle setup. Control tricep and then move to head control. Whilst still holding lapel with the opposite arm. There whilst control head switch to triangle control and finish.

She showed a snippet where from there second position can go onto shoulders and sweep one side of go the opposite and get the back.

Note if there still on knees go straight to back control.

nothing last forever

I thought we were close. Guess im not anymore. I get im not on your list of priority list. i really tried. In the end its just me chasing you like a stray cat. Your not even willing to hash things out. I wont bother you anymore holly. It hurts knowing id call you and msg and your only response is im about to go on a run. just ignore me. its the wait and dead time you make me linger kills me. I get I mean nothing to you. in the beginning I thought of you as this kind person but to the point you cant tell me straight up. Always trying to be the good person in it. So guess what’s left. Is to just make peace and we go our seperate ways.

you say your maybe call me on your break. But I aint counting my luck. for all I know you could care less about me. Your lack of sympathy. Makes me think of you less. Ever since I told you about my dad. your words are just whatever. Your lack of response just saying idonno with any direct question with me. Just means I don’t mean shit to you. After this call I won’t bother anymore. im wasting my time. so now I say good bye holly. I thought I saw something with you but you didn’t.

Im lying in bed on my last noght before i fly home. This whole week, it wasnt amazing. There werent any butterflys. But i still want her and miss her. As soon as i arrived when she picked me up she couldnt even bear a kiss but a hig. Yet alowly over the next couples of days she opened up. But she was different. She showed little affection for me. There were glimpses but its left me confused and wondering. We would hold hands whilst me walk at times. She wouldnt give me a ounce of pda. Id mention us as veing together she merely change the subject or laugh it off as a joke. It hurts. The grim reality check that it is. She doesnt want me. There were moments when we were making love that i saw the girl i fell in love with. But its not enough. Having to do all the work. Its become draining. Coming here has made me realise shes not worth it. I thought it would have been romantic seeing her coming all this way just to spend a week. But really from i see from her im just a friend visitng and shes just accomdating. Before coming here my sister told me be prepared for the two options. She wants to be with me and she will make the effort or she doesnt and leave her forever.

Im at a cross roads, do i stay talking to you knowing that you see me differently. Our small talk is terrible like two people trying to talk through a block of ice between them. Even thou its like this i still want to talk to you. The second option drop you like the plague and never speak to you again. But either way i know I dont have you at the end of it all.

I let my guard down I genuinely believed being with you, I let my guard down and thought. I could be someone you love. But now we are strangers. It torments me every night knowing deep down your the one that got away.

dad

I just had some weird dream just now, we were in this market place, and im looking for everyone but everyones elses face is blurred. I get a phone call and is jamie hes calling me to find me. Moments later hes right in my face and i see hes face teary. Trying to compose himself. He broke the news that dad has passed away whilst we walks though the crowd. He passed away a few hours ago. We split up and take our own different path through the crowd and it was weird. Right in front of me i see the back of my dads head but i never see his face just walking through the crowd in front of me. I always see uncle tony with talking to him. I realised it was him from the way he walks and his stuttering of his feet. He almost falls but i catch him by grabbing his hand and i walk with him. I see his face and hes muttering along about something else i dont listen. The first things i said was i love him. And i woke up. Its weird when you dream consciously i had all these things to say. But me in that dream that was the first thing and all i could conjure up. It felt like he was passing walking through the afterlife.

gotta keep your head up even when the road is hard never give up

You seriously need to believe in yourself. You need to trust yourself. You need to stand up and fight for yourself. The best and most powerful motivation is self-motivation. Keep calm and believe in yourself. Always be ready to accept life’s challenges. Be a Fighter. Be a Warrior. Be a Bad Ass.
