I 100% believe Rumi was one of those babies that was late to walk. Very late.
As in 'the internet says she should have been walking months ago, Celine's panicking thinking she broke the baby' late. 'Pediatrician admitting she's a bit old to not be walking' late.
Celine, panicking about specialists and problems and oh god what does this mean.
What it means, says a Grandmother in Jeju at the market who's known Celine since she was a young teenager trailing after her mentors, is that she carries the baby every where.
"She doesn't need to walk, you do it for her! Put her down and walk away, she'll follow."
The problem then becomes not that Rumi doesn't walk, but that she never fucking sits still.
Celine laces bells in her shoes to keep track of her movements.
Your sleep headcanons for Huntrix are absolutely top notch. May I humbly request you share any thoughts you have in how Celine and Bobby may sleep?
thank you! I was thinking about the different ways the girls slept for polytrix cuddling purposes, so I can't say I've given much thought to how Bobby or Celine sleep before this, but here goes
Bobby - I think he's one of those people that can sleep at will. he has to be. otherwise he'd never get any rest with all the shit Huntr/x constantly pulls. he'll go "k I'm gonna nap for 2 hours" on the private jet and then he'll be out like a light for exactly 2 hours. the girls think it's hilarious every time, poking and prodding and stacking stuff on him. the only thing that will wake him up early is the custom Huntr/x notif on his phone.
he has one of those apps that controls his lights at home, and a full length body pillow in his bed. so he'll curl up in bed, snuggle his body pillow, and be out as soon as the lights are off. then he'll sleep until either his Huntr/x notif or his alarm clock goes off. preferably his alarm clock because then it means the girls didn't surprise drop a single at 3am
Celine - let's be real, this woman sleeps like absolute garbage. she always tries to fall asleep but the amount of nights she spends awake is more than she'd like to admit. and when she actually gets some sleep it's because her body decides it's tired enough to pass out. facedown, arm hanging off the edge of either the bed or the couch, sometimes snoring when the sleep is actually good.
on rare occasions, while Huntr/x was training under her roof, they would find her sleeping in random spots around the house and would either put a blanket over her if she was snoring (good sleep) or gently shake her awake if she was too quiet (bad sleep) though she usually woke up regardless
the most sleep she's had in recent memory is the one time she accidentally dozed off in the penthouse and the girls decided to put Zoey's weighted blanket on her. she ended up sleeping for THIRTEEN hours and woke up so disoriented she thought she needed to be on stage in 5
she also misses when Rumi was a kid and would just climb into bed with her. she'd wake up well past sunrise with a mouth full of purple braid and Rumi's elbows and knees all jabbing into her torso somehow. truly some of the best sleep she's had since the Sunlight Sisters (Miyeong was all elbows too)
One thing I need but never saw in" young SLS meets Huntrix somehow " AUs is one scene of Celine looking at Huntrix like 'do they being apart for 5 seconds wouldn't kill them 🙄" and then 3 scenes later Mira look at SLS and think 'wow this guys have some SERIOUS codependency issues"
Rumi and Mira have always known Zoey was good with words; she’s their lyricist, after all. She’s always able to put into words what they themselves struggle with, she can hear Rumi humming a tune and have lyrics for it in hours, or she’ll be able to adjust the words so they’ll be easier to sing while dancing after watching Mira practice the routine for 5 minutes.
But they hadn’t realized just how much, until the fans go crazy every time Zoey opens her mouth.
The first time they notice they’re on a variety show, playing games agains a boy band that’s, frankly, getting on their last nerves. Huntrix is sweeping the floor with them an everyone knows it, but they keep acting like they’re giving the “newbie little girlies” the wins. Mira is close to bursting a blood vessel, Zoey looks 3 seconds away from going feral and Rumi is fighting the urge to summon her saingeom and skewer them on it like a fucking shish kebab.
“I understand what you’re saying Mira-ssi,” says Generic Boy #4, voice so sirupy sweet it’s a miracle he’s not vomiting condescension. “But I beg to differ,”
“Then beg,”
The entire studio falls silent, and everyone turns to Zoey, who is casually leaning on the table, head propped on her hand, and is grinning with all her teeth at GB #4, who gapes at her through those ridiculous bangs of his.
A second passes, then the audience starts hollering so loud a tech from the next door studio comes to shush them.

She also drops them during fan meets and signings, giving these little pearls that have the fans clambering over themselves to get to the table.
A teen asks them how to get good at playing guitar. “I try my best but I still suck!” They say as they hand over the print for them to sign.
“Of course you suck, you just started,” Zoey says as she scribbles her name, doodling a little turtle underneath before passing it over to Rumi. “But dude, sucking at something is the first step towards being sort of good at something.”
She grins up at them, and the teen looks like they’ve just been handed gospel, as do the few fans behind them that also heard.

But the place she goes absolutely wild, where she’s most likely to drop every filter and be as raw and unhinged as possible, is during her gaming streams.
“One day you will die,” she growls into the mic as some punk jumps and does little circles around her corpse. “One day you will die and will face a God who will not be as merciful as I, so you better pick one and pray.”
“God is disappointed in me?” She says, voice incredulous as she pauses the game so her pawns don’t get massacred while she’s distracted. “You think I care what your god thinks of me? He may judge me all he wants, but his sins outnumber my own! When my time comes I will face God and walk backwards into hell.”
“Can you feel your heart burning?” she rasps into her mic, voice raw from screaming at her screen for hours. “Can you feel the struggle within? The fear within me is beyond anything your soul can make. You cannot kill me in a way that matters.”
“You are alone, child.” She says, smug and preening like a peacock in her chair. “There is only darkness for you, and only death for your people. You are strong, but I am beyond strength!”
