The day I picked up my corset from Rave’s Oh My Goth.  I don’t think I’ve ever had such a flattering photo as this taken!

In more recent news:  I got myself laced up for bedtime last night, only to wake up a few hours later with extreme nausea.  I suppose it just had to wait until morning.

I’m doing thing thing cause I love the Corsetauthority and Scarlet insisted, Must follow the corset queens request =3 Name/nickname: Emma.

Age: 22 in a few weeks.

Favorite things:  Gaming, music, makeup, tattoo’s piercings and of course, Corsets!

Favorite things to hate on:  People being fake, People being uneducated/incorrect, fake “corsets” and lastly, “trends”.

How long you’ve been into corsets:  Since i was about…16.  I discovered their wonder properly at age 17 when i got my first one (first picture) and have continued to become more in love since.

Do you waist train: I am in the process of acquiring a corset to do so. I have strange torso proportions Dx

Favorite corset brand:  Havent really found a favourite yet, being strange shaped and all i usually have to shop around heaps -.-

Favorite type of corset: Longline underbust, getting a conical shape suits me best =]

Fave bands or music genre: Heavier side of things, metal, and a few genre’s of core, onto hardstyle and trance, and darkwave and instrumental/acoustic. I listen to a lot of things hehe.

What you want to be when you grow up: I just want to be someone i’m happy with, and be able to produce something wonderful.

Favorite school subject: Biology, i love science, it’s fascinating.

Hobbies: Gaming. Like, probably an unhealthy amount hahaha xD

Vices: Confidence (lack there of)

Random thing you wanna add: My hair is a massive passion of mine, it can make or break my confidence any given day.  Any day i get a compliment for it i’m instantly happy, if it looks bad, i feel bad. Also. Purple is the best colour <3 heheh xD

No, seriously, that is not a corset. Out of your entire blog, only four pictures at most can qualify as actual corsets, and that’s giving them the benefit of the doubt.

What are you trying to achieve by calling these things corsets? They’re tops and plastic boned lingerie, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Lingerie is wonderful. Make a blog about lingerie if you like, just don’t call it something it’s not.

The misinformation about corsets being spread around is bad enough already, and this is not helping. If anyone were to lace one of these garments believing it was an actual corset, they’d end up ripping it apart at best, and harming themselves at worst.

My job is soooooo boring. I can’t wait to close this corset. It’s giving me a little more resistance than the 426. Unsure why, but its nice to have a challenge while I save for a 16” -scarlet
