The Beatles are photographed by Shahrokh Hatami, backstage in their dressing room during one of their Christmas Shows in December 1963. According to his second wife’s book, Daddy Come Home, of which had been based off his own unpublished autobiography, Alfred Lennon was brought by his brother Charlie to one of these shows this month, watching his son and his band perform for the first time before meeting face to face with John for the first time again the following April 1st. The Christmas Shows ran from the 21st of December until the 10th of January 1964— and would do the same thing for the next year.
