It genuinely made me laugh. It was actually kinda funny.
I liked the references even though I didn't get some of them (I'm a little too young for some).
Loved the animal puns.
Anyway! Plot wise: Loved the plot twist. More below cause spoilers.
The son actually being evil? Great fucking twist! Like they actually made a secretly evil character seem good and they pulled it off on both sides!
There's obvs gonna be a 3rd movie about birds.
My only issue with this movie was the snake. For such an important part of the movie, he really didn't feel important at all. The son felt a lot more important even before being revealed a twist villain.
And I need to talk about the relationship between Nick and Judy. Cause like.... What is going on there? They act like lovers half the time and idk if Disney is pushing for that or if it's some kinda metaphor, but it gets confusing at times.
Anyway. Good movie. A little overdone with some references. Great overall. Worried about the 3rd movie.
