I Watched Goat

It wasn't bad.

The humor took a while to get used to.

But it got better as it went on, both the movie and humor.

The horse guy was an ok antagonist. I felt like the panther lady was a better antagonist at times.

The animation was alright.

At the beginning (this is my biggest thing) it felt like the voices weren't fit over the character right. Like, they were saying stuff, but the mouth movements didn't quite fit? Idk. That could just be me.

Some Things I Noticed In The 2026 State Of The Union Pre-News

I'm late. Chill.

So. From what I saw.

Fox News was very focused on the border and the economy while CNN was very focused on Epstein and Israel.

Fox News was heavy into "Crazy dems! Dems are destroying us! Dems are stupid!" while CNN was heavy into "Civilized discussion.... We Won't stand for Trump! But we speak like people but literally act on none of this we'll do nothing about anything we say lol."

And honestly both sides just pissed me off.

Fox News was just spewing hatred and stirring people up.

CNN was talking about all these solution, but not offering anything that anybody could do.

And this is a constant issue! Fox News uses their money and influence to hurt people and make people mad. CNN talks about all this great stuff they could do, but they never fucking do it!

The party system sucks. And so do the news channels. (i still prefer AP news)

I Watched Iron Lung

Ngl, hard to hear the exposition. Need me some subtitles.

For a movie with such a small filming set, it was really good.

To Those That Say Texas Is Ridiculous For Acting Insane Over Freezing Temps!

Because I've seen way too much of this online. (Yes I know it's summer rn. I post late)

We are literally built for heat. Our buildings are made to withstand heat, both humid and dry. Think like how England is meant to withstand the cold.

Our electrical grid is huge, yeah. But it is not built for our growing population at all.

Our water pipes are actually very shittily built when it comes to the cold. From what my dad has told me (he works with sceptics), this is mostly because our state and most companies see it as a cheaper option to just install pipes that work in regular temperatures and hope they don't burst.

Most of our heating systems are built for periods of extended cooling, not heating.

And good luck getting your fucking road iced if it's not a major one. Big issue for rural folks.
