Вообще его маскировка так хорошо сработала потому что люди не знают о существовании фей, а тем более их умении принимать любой облик

The sun was high in the sky. David runs the claws of his glove along the windowsill and looks out. Another day of his reign. He still cannot believe he has become a king. David touches the horns on his head. They look like sharp crystals. He adjusts his crown with a heavy sigh. A distinct knock distracts him from his thoughts. David frowns and nods.

“Come in.” One of the guards enters the chambers with a bow.

“Your Highness, a certain prince from the White Kingdom is waiting to meet you.”

David raises an eyebrow in surprise.

"A prince? I don't remember expecting any princes to arrive." David takes a couple of steps, lost in a thought for a moment.

“Okay. Did you find out his name?”

“Prince Daniel, Your Highness."

David nods and leaves his chambers. His mind is racing with thoughts of the unexpected guest. What does royal blood want here? He enters the main hall. The prince has already sat at the table on the other side of the vast room. David feels his heart begin to pound wildly, his breath catching in his chest. Dressed in gold and silk, the prince looks like an ethereal being. David clears his throat.

“Prince Daniel?”

The prince looks up at him with cold blue eyes from under thick, light lashes. David's heart skips a beat as he focuses on the movement of plump pink lips.

“Your Highness”
